OK, he did send missiles into Syria early on — a half-assed token response, really — and that was it! For the most part, Assad was a benevolent dictator to the Christian & other minorities in Syria and it was a fairly stable regime until 0bama (zeroes look like little o’s in TBP font). He liked to destabilize governments in the ME for his buddy, the Ayatollah. I guess he was reverting to his days of being raised as a muslim.
I am mostly worried about all of these armed factions facing off in an extremely unstable part of the world, but the Chairborne Commandos in the odd shaped building in VA would like nothing more than to start up another little regional conflict so they can funnel some more USD to their buddies in the business of weapons of war.
