The result was Dick Cheney nominating himself as Veep, then Rumsfeld’s news conference admission of Trillions unaccounted for at the Pentagon on 9/10/01, then the slice of the Pentagon where the auditors are trying to find that money gets hit by an alleged airliner and all the rest. We invade Iraq for no reason than to make Halliburton shareholders (Cheney’s old company he’s well vested in options) very rich.
Apparently, they planned all this in advance and should burn in hell forever.
Rummey was a very intelligent and accomplished man. However, he and his gang (and Scrub) caused twenty years of total bullshit. I do not wish anyone ill will, but he will not be missed. He and McCain can now commiserate on wars missed and lost.
