Do You Believe in Mother?

A Parable by Útmutató a Léleknek

In a mother’s womb were two babies.  One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”

The second baby replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery.  Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense” said the first.  “There is no life after delivery.  What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here.  Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths.  Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd.  Walking is impossible and eating with our mouths?  Ridiculous!  The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need.  Because the umbilical cord is so short, life after delivery is logically impossible.”

The second baby insisted, “Well, I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here.  Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense.  And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there?  Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion.  It delivers us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied, “Mother?  You actually believe in Mother?  That’s laughable.  If Mother exists then where is she now?”

The second said, “She is all around us.  We are surrounded by Her.  We are of Her.  It is in Her that we live.  Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well, I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence – and you focus and you really listen – you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

I liked that. And, a pretty darn good analogy. Thanks!

Outstanding!

We are without a pastor at church and parishioners are filling in.

My spot is coming up in a month and you just gave me my sermon!

Bless you!

This morning, our pastor said “You have to believe to see” and referenced John 11:40. You might use this as the basis and reference point.

Exceptional. Should cause anyone with an open mind to stop and take pause.

I’ve always been partial to the butterfly analogy…

Caterpillars don’t know that they’re going to become a butterfly.

A retelling of the Allegory of the Cave, but not superfluously so.

It’s plausible.
The second baby, like many people, cloak themselves in logic in claiming there there is not a greater presence.
But any basic study of logic indicates that one can never prove a negative, only a positive.
(You cannot prove something does not exist, only that it does.)
I’ve never heard anything, as much as I’ve listened.
But I won’t say there’s no one speaking just because I might be deaf.

Sorry, got the babies mixed up. That would be the first baby.

This has been around for a long time … not sure if the attribution is real or just put there by the person providing it to TBP.

It’s a parable for our times — it takes courage to go out into the real world … to subject yourself to any and all ‘risks’ that you choose … that’s where the ‘action’ is — and it can be far more incredible than we ever imagine – or, as now with things as they are, it can be far more dangerous and destructive than we ever imagined.

Time for US to make our choices … and live our own lives as if there’s no tomorrow … because TPTB are trying to make sure there isn’t …

‘You’ll have nothing … and you’ll be happy’ isn’t the life for US … and we owe it to ourselves and ‘Our Posterity’ to make sure that it never gets here.

Father God, Jesus, His Angels etc reveal themselves to many people and many of their stories get into print and on Youtube. If anyone wants to be the “blind & deaf” baby here, they will certainly have the Truth revealed to them after they die.

I’m the blind and deaf baby.
But the world isn’t about my handicaps.
So like I said, I don’t claim a negative.
I will never claim there is no mother (or father, as it were).
But I’ve had my share of dogma, raised Roman Catholic.
What I can say is your lord works in mysterious ways (cliche).
And I am how I am because your lord has willed it so.
And I am not one to question the plans of your lord.
I accept what I cannot change.
My path will be determined by your lord, and when I stand before him, he may ask why I have lived my life such.
And I will answer it was his will.
They learned me good in CCD.
(That’s Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. Had to write that 500 times for asking the wrong questions.)

You have Free will and you will answer for what you did; you will not be able to put God on trial for what He did as Omnipotent God, and you will probably not be excused for a clever counter charge (i.e. excuse, and blaming Christianity for it’s faults, which you see). He is real (watch the movie “Heaven is Real”) and we all better do things His way as best we can. We all need to get on the Right Path; I heard that term from an Angel (at least I suppose that is what it was).

Lets look at the baby analogy.
One baby is quiet and peaceful during the pregnancy, while the other is rambunctious, always kicking, and generally unruly.
Let’s even assume that is the baby that does not believe in mother.
And then they are born.
Does mother love one baby more than the other?
I’ve seen and heard of parents refusing to give up on their children, regardless of their misdeeds.
Even those that progress to serial killers or politicians.
I presume that is unconditional love.
So, based on what I’ve been taught about your god, I’m able to accept he’s probably kind of like that.
Probably not so much the wrathful omnipotent created in man’s image by religions.
Of course I will answer any charges against me, since your god is omnipotent.
That is no different than my current interactions with the state.
The same type of omnipotent power brought to bear on one individual.
I guess I just imagine these theatrics of trial are the manifestations of men.
There will be no “clever” counter charges, as I imagine that my perceptions will be greatly expanded (not unlike the babies being born), as we calmly discuss the Truth that is revealed.
I might even ask why some got to hear angels’ guidance, and all I ever heard was my tinnitus.
The “Do as he commands or face his wrath” sold by a lot of religious types seems so….
manipulative.
Not unlike the current Covid vax dynamic.
And my manipulation recognition servo immediately engages my suspicious cynicism solenoid.
Same as with this vax thing.
Both seem to be manifestations of men.
I offer this in sincerity, and thank you for your consideration and perspective.
