I’m employed with a company that has 100+ employees, so this affects me. I am not vaccinated, and I will not take that poison into my body. So, as it stands now, I will be able to work until January 4, 2022. I live in a red state, but the governor of my state is nowhere to be found. This mandate needs to be blocked.
Hold out as long as possible. I suspect that the January 4 deadline is because not long after that the bodies of the injected will start stacking up, and the collapse of the birth rates will become apparent.

I realize not all companies allow that. I only found out today that it wouldn’t be just testing but masking as well. I know SCOTUS doesn’t warrant confidence, but this is EXACTLY like the CDC / eviction moratorium case from a couple months ago. So there’s a good chance that it will get thrown out. You can take a antibody test on site at Harris-Teeter pharmacy. I did one last week and although it came back negative (showing no Covid antibodies), it will also show if you are currently infected. It’s s simple blood prick. It cost $25 but they also have an in-home antigen Covid test for $16.

My husband is in the same situation and feels the same way. His is a civilian gov’t job and has recently turned in a religious exemption. Today, more intimidation came in the form of additional paperwork to be filled out along with a bunch of legal jargon.
I recommend at least trying the exemption for now. Turn it in asap. There are many examples of them on the net. Take parts you like and craft your own. I understand not all employers are so intimidating, so I hope you have an easier time of it. I figure eventually the exemption claims will be targeted but that will be ok.

I run a distribution center here in Florida and I can tell you with 100% confidence that all of the independent drivers we use and several of the larger contract carrier drivers are absolutely refusing to deliver to large cities on the Northeast seaboard.
