Are you thinking about buying a gun? Ew. What’s wrong with you? Gross! Just… ew. Guns are very problematic, and so are the people who use them. You don’t need one. Here’s why.
#1) You can always count on the police to protect you: That’s just a fact. Police are proven 100% effective at protecting innocent people!
#2) There’s no evidence to suggest the government would ever overstep and try to take away your rights: A government has literally never done this. Don’t be so paranoid!
#3) Guns make journalists wet their pants: If you live near a journalist and he hears you own a gun, he may wet his pants. You don’t want something like that on your conscience.
#4) Guns are NOT cool and awesome and fun to shoot and useful for protection: Just trust us on this. We’re journalists.
#5) Criminals have guns and use them to do bad things: You don’t want to be like a criminal, do you?
#6) Nobody’s going to break into your house when there’s plenty of free stuff to loot at Target: Relax. Seriously.
#7) Your much manlier neighbor already has a gun: You can just borrow his if you really need it!
#8) Gun handling is best left to the professionals: Like Alec Baldwin.
So do the world a favor and DON’T buy a gun. Don’t visit an online store for a fantastic deal on a firearm. Just don’t.

If you’re going to have a gun, it seems to me you need at least two: one purchased perhaps online or through a dealer that does a background check, another – that uses the same ammunition – purchased with cash from a private party and no background check. That way the government only knows about one of them.
Two?
Two in each bugout spot.
3 bugout spots minimum.
A rifle and a pistol.
A shotgun if you really feel it.
If anyone from .gov can find you,or kick in the door of your primary res.,
simply state all purchased firearms have been destroyed and recycled, as you now see that guns are bad.
Any other method of disposal could result in criminal charges.
Use firearms that utilize common LEO rounds; if you burn through your loadout, restock from what was purchased with your tax dollars.
LOL. Now that’s recycling.
I’d love to recycle some lead, er ah zinc.
“…restock from what was purchased with your tax dollars…”
I like your style.
I like your style.
You’ll love my groupings.
Anything within a man-sized target at 100 yards gets my love and admiration!!
But I’m a strictly iron sights type of fella. I renounced all my modern firepower and optics.
Shooting from the hip with a .45 Colt and through buckhorns on a .45-70 is how I intend to sweep up anything you snipers might happen to miss once the festivities begin!!!
Everything in my world is John Wayne approved. But even the Duke couldn’t shoot like I can.
You must be Matthew Garth.
I tell everyone getting into firearm ownership in these crazy days, you can never have enough ammo.
Yes. You can have enough.
This is ENOUGH:
No.
That is too much.
And everyone knows; Too much is never enough.
I stand corrected.
River, stop taking pictures in me cellar!
You keep leaving the light on so all us peeping toms can see your ammo stash!!!
My mouth is watering.
Nah…but enough for my 12 year old sister maybe…
Iska,cash/80% ect.,now you have a legendary “ghost”.
I will say for those who care a homemade firearm with exception of fully automatic is AT MOMENT still completely legal.I would add when it is illegal is the time you need a “ghost” the most.
Care to share how?
Glock, look up 80% builds on one of the tubes. To do say a tupper ware pistol(Glock)you really only need a drill/file and though could be done with a exacto knife a dremel with cutting wheel quicker and better.Even with polishing the trigger group(dremel again) and slide parts ect. tis under a hour job once done a few times. These lowers come with a once use jig.
To build say a 1911 you will also need a jig/cutter(online again) and this is a many hour process though a enjoyable one for folks who like tinkering, this is usually a bit more pricey then buying a finished 1911 but done right will have very good fit and finish not found at that price point.
To do say a AR15/AR10 again will need a jig/drill and a small router for FCP,when done, install trigger group/safety into receiver/check function and if good take apart and either paint/cerekote ect. said lower.
I have a freind who is really into this and watched a few builds, all above mentioned builds on the net(at moment).
This is legal at moment but you cannot legally sell said build unless you first # and register said lower or whole firearm with the feds.In theory you cannot except verbally/loan tools help another do this, but,my guess would be who is to know.I do believe the home made group(really just fashioning lower and adding parts) may be made illegal till then, build away if one wants.
On can also look into 3d printing/ a whole nother world.
All of this is covered on many sites on the net.
My neighbor’s wife has a pink one i am sure it is less lethal.
Foot,as it is not black is also considered a “friendly” firearm, not the scary black one!
Gun control is buying/making only one when you wanted say two/three/four ect.
Wow, I looked at the price of guns and ammunition. It’s through the roof. I should have bought 1000 handguns years ago and sold them at today’s prices. I would be a millionaire.
when I was younger I never made enough to invest in gold or silver but
I did invest in lead and brass.
I read “bras” at first glance.
And when the wife’s boobs droop like lead, an investment in bras may be a wise choice.
I literally had a 1000 could invest years back without missing if bad investment.A friend at time mentioned bitcoin, about 5 bucks a piece then, sigh…….
Here ia a 80% frame for 50 bucks, lower parts kit, about another 50 bucks, complete upper slide with sites, about 350-400,you now along with magazines and ammo have a decent 9mm or .40,your choice.

Hmmm…..,found some decent uppers for 300 bucks, feel the manufactures realize this window will soon be closing.
Remember,if you build it they will come!
Actually,they will come either way,so dammit,build it!
Handgun in each Car under lock and key per state requirement, numerous long arms around the house, at least 1000 rounds per each caliber. Several hiding places utilized, several homes and a bugout place too. Know the hiking trails that get to the AT behind the bugout base. From there the entire east coast is accessible. Self Sufficient, have advanced gardening capability/capacity, even indoors through winter. Complete solar and solar generators capability for a large home, easily transported to any location. Better Get Ready!
Brilliant,thanks.
I’ll add to that list. If you didn’t buy a gun and ammo years ago when ammo was available, your fuked because you will be lucky to find any ammo.
Though more expensive SG Ammo(a great company)has plenty:https://www.sgammo.com/ .
I would recommend getting a AR upper in 7.62X39,shhots the steel just fine which is still reasonably priced, you will need the right mags to go with said upper and obviously a lower if you do not already have one, perhaps time for a 80% lower?!
This is a great mid range rifle and as said still reasonable cost to shoot.
That said, whatever you need ammo for it tis out there, just more costly.
I remember the begin of the scamdemic a wise/astute poster saying get going on shopping for food for the tools while easily available and relatively inexpensive.
I hope many followed this wise sages advice!
