Thanks for sharing. People are despicable. Hope they find them and convict them of the multiple felonies they committed.
When cops think, with good reason, that they stand a darned good chance of getting shot if they fail to excertise good discretion, we will be moving in the right direction. As described, this little episode (assuming it happened as described) tells the cops that they are more free to violate private space and demand compliance than they were before. They just have to sy that some sort of threat was made to have legal authority to ‘Mistake’ you for a killer in your private space, and kill you if it seems like the thing to do.
The game is hardball, and is played for keeps. Imagining that any cop is on duty to protect and serve the members of the public without discrimination is not paying attention. Perhaps with real and deep regret, not one cop in a hundred will do anything to endanger their income. And you honkies generally pay much better attention to directions, so you know where enforcement will be focused
They are not your friends. If you don’t work to protect yourself (mostly by living in a non-shithole, or suburb even) and keep them from brainwashing your kids in the local public school, you will lose. It might take a while, but you will lose.
