Maybe, just maybe “simple minded” people are waking up and connecting the dots. Is he not saying the things that just about all Burning Platformers would be saying if given the chance?
Although some might consider his country-folk twang as being indicative of simple-mindedness, he ain’t that… using words like “insidious” while nailing government and economic corruption right to the proverbial wall. He is more humble, if anything. Just my two cents.

I put “simple minded” in quotes to signify what, I assume, the hoity-toity would say about him. This guy is my type of people.
Got it. I was thinking “simple” might be synonymous with “humble” or “down-to-earth”, but the (hyphenated) “minded” threw me as I read this post earlier on a smaller device and missed the quotation marks in your comment. I now see what you did there and I stand corrected.
I just didn’t want anyone to think I was having on the guy. Sure wish a ton more high profile people would say these things in interviews.
We all do see it every day, but we have limited ability to contribute to the opposition because it is all happening so much faster than expected.
Even for those of us who thought we were prepared.
I am glad those tribulating days will be shortened.

Thank you Abby. I don’t mind taking flak for my opinions but this one tugs on so many heartstrings it could get me beat up down at the coffee shop. As it’s designed to I think. Who wants to be seen as hating the sick kiddies and mom’s apple pie.
