This is an opportunity unlike anything we have ever had in the past. Before now everyone could just pretend that things weren’t that bad because at least they had their job and home and you could keep your head down and no one would come after you because you didn’t agree with some ridiculous set of prog standards. Then they showed you who was boss by telling you to cover your face, keep your distance from each other, go to your room, take some shot and most people said well, maybe if we just do what they say it will all go back to normal and now?
What’s left? What are the good parts of their system? What do you still have left of your old world? What can you still say openly without living in fear? How much of your money is going to be left when they bleed you dry with every gallon of gas, every loaf of bread, every new tax and fee to cover their ever shrinking revenues?
This marks the beginning of the end of the old world that was irretrievably broken, rotten, corrupt and dirty and time to start fresh with something of real value.
If you are too old, then think of your children and grandchildren and set them up with something off-grid. Put all your efforts into helping them get established on a homestead, away from the rot and the oppression. Teach them everything you know, give them the tools and invest in their future if you aren’t able to do it yourself.
Make the change, anyone can do it who has the means before there isn’t any of that left over and your own children wind up trapped.
The idea that these people are going to control everyone and everything is an illusion, another of their bullshit stories meant to trap you into compliance. Now is the time to finally snap out of the trance that has paralyzed everyone for so long, wishing and hoping that eventually people will come to their senses and return to a normality that is long gone.
This is the chance that everyone has been waiting for all along without realizing it.
Be the change you want to see in the world and it will happen.

Our children vote Democrat and believe the lies. Grandchildren are junior liberals already. My wife says we need to help them when they’re ready for college. I say, let’s look out for ourselves now…and assure we’re “not a burden to our kids later”. WHEN (or if) they graduate from college, we’ll see if we can help them with their college debt. I’m not going to front college money when we don’t know what they’ll do in college (five or six years to get a useless 4-year degree as is so common!)
I said all that to my step-daughter about the grandkid(s) going to college. Her serious reply was……they need to go for the college ‘experience’. (Not on my dime!)
The “college experience.” Reminds me of Churchill replying to an Admiral who felt he was interfering with Royal Navy tradition. Churchill said the Navy traditions he knew about were “Rum, sodomy and the lash.” Replace those with Booze, fornicating, weed, fentanyl and continual exposure to gross stupidity, promotion of faggotry and commieass everything else. You and your wife might want to encourage them to look at a trade like Carpentry, Electrician, Plumber or if they insist on college, they better learn how to fix robots or design them.
Learn to write code, computer network maintenance.

At this point, we are eating home-raised pork, fresh free-range chicken eggs and veggies from our root cellar. I’m currently boiling down maple sap and there are seedlings in our sunroom. I’m thinking of making a still as booze offers great profits minus the taxes and promotion costs. Don’t tell me it’s illegal. So is peaceful protesting, telling demonstratable truths and holding views like those of the Founding Fathers.
I stopped worrying about government legalities when barak was in his first term. Now that he is finishing his hope and change during his third term who cares about what the insane in DC decree as law.

But also…what you’re saying is what I declared Day One to myself. No they can’t and won’t subdue/control 8 billion. Trying to get it underway as well. Need to work on the soil for a garden. We have 5 acres and need to work on getting a little productive. Ordered a cigarette machine and tobacco shredder. I don’t smoke a lot but it’s another way to cut the tax flow as a pound of cured tobacco is $20. Cost of a smoke is .02 each. Next up is beer. I’m 1 year out possibly from not getting a w2. I’ll take SS and then won’t be paying into it along with medicare.
I love the nature of my job, but I absolutely despise the people that run the show. Fucking arrogant cucks from the generation that is 5-10 yrs younger. They can’t do any thinking out of the box and everything they touch turns to shit. It’s lost and not coming back. In 10-20 yrs the programmed group will be running the shit show. Was raised by people that lived through the depression, and as such was raised independent, and self sufficient. I have reverted to the olds ways I was taught as a boy. A modern Florida homestead. Survival garden, repair, and repurpose, hunting, and fishing, barter, and scrounge. Dumping dollars. Feels close, that old devils breath, feels real close, these days.
Like you I have been doing this all my life in one way or another. The problem with what is going on at the moment is, folks are being pushed to a point they will have to make the choice of stand their ground. Starting a process such as this is usually easy, it is stopping it that becomes difficult & evil. Just say-in.
If you’re in Florida zone.9-10 and the land enough plant a food forest, I have Moringa, Jack Fruit, Avocado, Citrus, Mango, Papaya and am look ing at planting Olives.
Figs and apples are doable as are cocoanut.
Sweet potatoes and peanuts as well.

Wise words. We started down the path to self sufficiency years ago with mixed results. The goals I set, some were met and some not. I decided in the last couple years that we won’t be taking anything with us when we go. We have a nice little setup down here in Az. Unfortunately no family wanted to join us. The kids I understand, as they have my spirit and needed to strike out on their own. Parents and other family remain stuck on stupid, loving their servitude in the big blue cities.
At this point helping your kids is the best thing you can do, (provided their heads on straight) ours don’t need help, and it is almost like pulling teeth getting them to take it. I think they finally believe me about not taking it with. It is wonderful to see them benefit now. I never understood my boomer parents amassing fortunes that will probably be stolen and raked off once their dead. I guess it is generational. It is so much more satisfying giving kids an inheritance while your alive and can see what they make of it.
Fixing the kids up while alive is the best thing! Just check with your accountant and make all transfers legal with the crap government we curently have.

The entire world cannot run away and live off grid. That is simply not the answer. The answer is to stand up. Stop accepting tyranny. Stop believing the world is one day going to return to normal. Stop believing you are somehow going to get out of this mess without either being a victim, or getting some blood on your hands. It is up to you to decide which. Stop supporting a criminal government, and stop going along with the agenda. This is your fight, and you had better wake the fuck up and realize that they are coming for you.
With the technology now available there is no place to hide. Off the grid? 50 miles out? Might take them 5 minutes to find you. A few people can not fight of 20 trained troops. Safety in numbers.
The country is big’n wide… they don’t have the manpower to be everywhere. And when they start round’n up people word will spread like wildfire… they’ll find out quick that there are more than a few guns pointed at them and the people behind them guns are willing to use them… just a guess…
Question, Are those twenty trained troops wearing high heels or all terrains??? If its the former then I’m pretty sure the only thing you’ll get is some lipstick tossed at you. The later will put up a scuffle… that is if there are any still employed by the govt.
I guess it’s a perspective thing. We’re in agreement on virtually every bullet point you listed except that I don’t see this as running away, but towards something. And it is standing up when you take your own destiny into your hands by becoming self-reliant, building communities based on mutual support, and denying them the legitimacy they need by participating in it.

We bought acreage in a remote WV area last year where there are a few homesteaders (we currently use it for camping and prep for retirement there). My adult stepson and my husband will be working the land next weekend, as he and I have been doing. Sadly, my side of the family is mostly clueless and uninterested in living indepently.
