Why Did Hunter Biden Have DOD Encryption Keys On His Laptop?

Via AND Magazine

The ongoing analysis of the hard drive of Hunter Biden’s laptop has revealed that there are multiple Department of Defense “encryption keys” on it. These keys allow access to DOD email accounts and databases. The exact number of these keys is still unknown. There may be dozens.

The keys are known more formally as “root encryption certificates.” Some of them appear to have unusually long expiration dates with many lasting twenty years or more.   Such keys should not be present on a personal laptop of any kind, and there is no known reason that Hunter Biden would be in possession of them at all.

The keys were discovered only recently by Jack Maxey’s technical team working in Switzerland. Shortly after the discovery of the keys Maxey contacted the U.S. Embassy in Switzerland and reported that he had information that might compromise American national security and would like to talk to someone in the Regional Security Office to report what he had learned. His contact information was taken by the person with whom he spoke, but no one has ever called back to obtain the information in his possession.

According to information provided to Maxey, DOD is now aware of the presence of the keys on the laptop’s hard drive, has determined that the keys were still active, and has taken steps to cancel them.

An IT technical expert advising Maxey’s team has speculated that the keys present on Hunter’s laptop might have allowed Hunter to create throwaway email accounts on DOD servers and thereby route personal and business communications through those servers to escape detection. Such an arrangement would be in effect a much more sophisticated version of Hillary Clinton’s use of her “homebrew” server to evade monitoring of her communications while she was Secretary of State.

This is a developing story. We will provide updates as they become available. It bears worth emphasizing at this stage, however, that Hunter Biden’s laptop has been in the possession of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since well before the 2020 election. If the information currently in Maxey’s possession from DOD is correct and encryption keys giving access to DOD systems were still active until Maxey and his team discovered their presence and reported them, that would seem to suggest strongly that the FBI has never bothered to investigate what is on the hard drive.

I heard about these being there back near the beginning. “The media,” on both sides of the spin, mentioned this in passing, but to me, a retired military man, these were a HUGE red flag!

…Nothing to see here folks. Move along…

I’m sure Hunter needed those encryption keys to keep the big guy in the loop.

They don’t need keys to crack a hard drive, just time. Depending on the manufacture, just access to what the DHS has.

Having encryption keys to upper levels of government and military… no big deal if you are a democrat or their family…

Take a picture of a subs interior that shows nothing secret… prison time… Expose the governments crimes and you’d best flee the country or prepare to be in prison a LONG time while waiting for extradition to face bogus charges of espionage…

They arent DoD encryption keys. They are fucken web encryption certificates that are issued by the goddamned DoD websites.

This is pure bullshit spin for something that did not need any spin.

TickerGuy had covered this a couple days ago in-depth.

We all know that fucken crackhead piece of shit, kid-raping, incest monkey is a giant traitorous piece of bipedal shit. No need to make up shit about encryption “keys” since that laptop has unholy disturbing shit on it insofar as material with minors and relatives.

Not to mention the outright evidence of pay to play and corruption. As if the depravity isnt enough for the sheep to stop grazing.

ZFG, out.

P.S. I really do hope there is an all out war as we are beyond repairing the rot.

I hear ya ZFG, yet those certs imply that POP (post office protocol) communications with a DoD e-mail server were successfully established (possibly authenticated via smartcard) to retrieve Hunter’s messages?

Its not like the predator class learned nothing from Podesta’s gmail fail.

It is possible, but highly unlikely, although nothing would surprise me at this point seeing as the DoD has notoriously shit web security. I mean like never been on the webz security. Not to mention all the backdoors the Chino hardware probably has on it. Those idjits were probably bouncing their shit off Hitlery’s home server that they completely let slide.

The “news” about DoD’s “encryption keys” smells like a limited hangout. Watch. In a few more days, the mass media will tell us the “encryption keys” news story is debunked. The mass media will announce the things they called “encryption keys” today were just semi-public root certificates found on a million DoD computers. And everybody will forget about the evidence of actual treason, graft, and fraud on Hunter’s laptop.

Indeed, they are smoke-screening the real shit.

I just want to make a few additional clarifications for those who don’t use encryption routinely.

When you hear about “encryption certificates”, you can be sure that it refers to ASYMMETRIC ENCRYPTION, which, unlike SYMMETRIC ENCRYPTION, uses two keys: a PRIVATE KEY (or SECRET KEY) used for decryption and a PUBLIC KEY (which some people call CERTIFICATE) used for encryption. Every internet browser comes with a number of certificates that allow encrypted connections.

Anyone can create their own asymmetric keys. Windows users can use, for example, Kleopatra, and Linux users have encryption/decryption tools right in the operating system. The private key, protected by a password, does not have to leave the creator’s computer, but the public key, as the name implies, can be published anywhere on the Internet or even in a newspaper. There are many servers on the Internet where you can search for certificates (public keys). Here are just two:

keyserver.pgp.com
pgp.key-server.io

BOTTOM LINE:
Simply having one or more certificates (public keys) stored on your computer means absolutely nothing. Because, I repeat it, they are public. However, in this case, we have a clue that Hunter Biden was probably sending encrypted messages to the DoD. It would be interesting to know if the DoD also had any of Hunter’s public keys to reply to him. And who exactly had it.

The fact that things have been dragging on for so long on this laptop story means that the people who own it either want to protect Biden or blackmail him.

Don’t ask the assistant head of cyber security at the FBI about that (Hunters Laptop possibly compromising US govt) he told Congressman Gaetz that’s not his responsibility and when asked whose it was at the FBI he said he didn’t know! Your tax dollars hard at work.

Hunter can commit gun felonies and has enough criminal activity on the laptops to put him and his entire family away for life. He’s protected and nothing significant will become of any of it.
While hundreds of citizens are rotting in jail, not charged with anything nor able to bond out for walking around the capitol grounds taking selfies.
We are a banana republic. Our govt has no legitimacy and is corrupt to the core.

Jan 6th Victim: Great American Driven to Suicide By Democrat Persecutors, ‘They Broke Him’

“These people have no shame—so no moment of reflection can be expected.
After we spoke Sunday, Geri and Larry headed to the funeral home to make arrangements for Matt. “I miss my son,” Larry told me, his voice breaking. “This leaves a giant hole in my heart. I don’t know how I will get through this. He was a good person, so kind and considerate. He couldn’t harm a flea.”
Matthew Perna was failed by the country he loved, demonized by the news media, tormented by the world’s most powerful law enforcement, ignored by political leaders of both parties, and betrayed by a federal judge sworn to defend justice not appease the whims of a vengeful regime.”

The article ends with “seem to suggest strongly that the FBI has never bothered to investigate what is on the hard drive”. Like the average American this author has yet to arrive at the realization that corruption has leached into every single crevice of our nation to the point that we can not and should not trust even our own eyes or ears and never ever assume anything we read, see or hear is not corrupted. The FBI as well as the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of the US have been taken over by the darkside. Yes, the FBI knew about the DOD encryption codes years ago and acted accordingly. The author of this piece should read the Art of War and wake up. He will be happier for it.

This is just AMAZING the uckfhead and his father have NOT been arrested and Ceaucesu-ized. 535 Members of Congogrease can STOP this corruption but REFUSE to do so.

The entire apparatus of government is phony and corrupt to the very core of its being. Washington is just ROTTED out.

This proves God’s hand in it because I’m amazed at all our evil, backstabbing, sodomizing, and corruption we still have an operating country.
