Blah, blah, blah, Putin bad. No self examination of the West’s actions that contributed to the current situation. “Putin miscalculated”. No, I say that the US/NATO miscalculated and are doubling down on that miscalculation driving a huge wedge between the west and the rest of the world who increasingly view the US as the global bully on the block… Chip

“Putin miscalculated”. No, I say that the US/NATO miscalculated…

A Failure of Deterrence

Dominick Cummings explains

When Pearl Harbor happened, Washington was in shock. Unprovoked attack!

What had really happened?

America had tightened economic warfare against Japan including shutting down oil. Then it suddenly confiscated Japanese assets held in America. Japan won’t do anything, said the high status Washington insiders, because rationally they know attacking America will be fatal.

But in Japan they reasoned differently: America has clearly decided to destroy our regime so we should attack and try to change the balance of forces.

Washington’s ‘insanity’/‘irrationality’ was Tokyo’s rational calculation.

Why is this relevant?

America has many virtues but its ruling class does not have a long culture of imperial success and it has not developed a ruling class that generates leaders good at judgements about other regimes. Britain had people like Lord Cromer ruling the Egyptians — a very smart, cold, calculating cynical aristocrat with empire in his blood, a sort much better suited to imperial politics than the output of American graduate schools who dominate Washington and repeatedly, naively misjudge other countries. We’ll bring democracy to Afghanistan… We’ll stop corruption in Afghanistan… We’ll bring LGBTQ+++ to Afghanistan… Argh we gotta flee Afghanistan…

Even very smart and able Americans such as Dean Acheson were not good at assessing other regimes. Imperial politics is not the same as democratic politics. Also notice that when Tyler Cowen interviewed Brennan, a former CIA director, and asked about the Tetlock project, by now known in outline to many in politics, Brennan didn’t even know what it was — a very telling detail. If the CIA director doesn’t know about the most interesting project to counter intelligence failures, what else doesn’t he know?!

In the Cold War we saw Washington make repeated errors. The Vietcong are about to fold, they said, year after year. Turned out the Vietcong defined their priorities and rationality differently. America had to retreat.

Just last year we could see how bad the trillion dollar network of DoD and intelligence agencies were on Afghanistan and the Taliban. America had to retreat.

And now Washington’s high status insiders are confidently declaring what it would be ‘rational’ and ‘crazy’ for Putin to do.

Given their complete inability to correctly anticipate what Putin – or pretty much any of their other enemies – was going to do previously, what are the odds that they have gotten it right this time? More importantly, most of the people making decisions about the use of US military force have no loyalty to nor concern for the American people or their national interests, so they’re much more willing to take risks than actual Americans would.

I am reading Kissinger’s book, World Order, to delve into the psychology of the NWO. I am 1/3 of the way through, and it reads as a history of World order. He has not really given a view, so far, that he was really for or against it. He really was a student of it.

The so called ” chosen tribe” welds way to much power in our country. Look who makes up the a majority of bidens cabinet, the leadership of major banks, tech sectors, and media.
They are smart, motivated and have a plan. It is the destruction of the west. I guess they think they will feel safe ruling and/ or hiding in the ruins of the old empire.

I did not use to think this way….., but give me another explanation on why such a smart, highly educated and wealthy group with access ti such political power would drive our nations policies into such destructive directions?

The only way we will be rid of Kissinger and others like him will be when a wooden stake is driven through each malignant heart. That I know, but I do not know the details of the proper method. We, here in America, must quickly relearn the knowledge that our ancestors once knew intimately. Perhaps we should consult those who have preserved that knowledge. The elders of the Balkan tribes still possess that knowledge, and are reputed to be experts in how to eliminate people like the abominable K. They are reputed to prefer Yew wood. Not sure at this time if there are more than one species of Yew, and if one is better than another.

As an example of what the peoples of the Balkans and nearby areas do when they eliminate monsters, please recall the videos we have all seen of Nicola Ceausescu and his wife being shot to death. One might think bullets were the end of it. However, I strongly suspect that the Romanians also drove stakes through their hearts, just for insurance, before burying the bodies.

Many monsters prowl this country, working to destroy us. I am not confident that hanging or bullets will eliminate them permanently, but a wooden stake through the heart should suffice. I dare not mention the names of some of them, but I am quite sure that any of you can quickly recall their loathsome visages from memory and breath their names quietly.

Since a stake through the heart is the only sure way to ensure that certain types of monsters lie quietly, I even question the reports of the deaths of notorious monsters who supposedly died in the last few years. For instance, until the bodies of Zbigniew Brezinski and David Rockefeller (or any other Rockefeller, for that matter) are exhumed and a stake driven through each monster’s heart, and then the bodies, after they cease twitching, be burned to fine ashes, I will not be confident that they are truly dead.

I thought in Eastern Europe the practice is to cut off their head AND stake the heart. The head is supposed to be buried separate, I think. There was an article a few years ago how they still do these things.
