How ’bout a song about trying to run over cops with your car who were going to arrest you for no reason? BTW for all you old punks Pat Brown was killed a few years back when he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle.
I’m not sure that “Little Red Corvette” was about a car….just saying.
And though an annoying work of techno 80s, one can’t overlook this one-hit-wonder:
One hit? What about “Are Friends Electric?” OK, maybe not an actual “hit”.
Got me to listen to that one. Yes, I vaguely remember it. Not exactly a hit….certainly by comparison to Cars.
Lost me with Springsteen.
Yeah I know it’s a Chuck Berry song, but…
That is hands down the best Queen song of all time. Written and sang by the drummer.

Sausalito Summer nights
kick ass song!
Pretty much can’t go wrong with Ministry.
The song seems a little silly at first, until it isn’t.

I grew up with Benjamin Orr (actually, Orzechowski) in Parma Heights, OH … knew him since I was 12 years old.
He had an early Beatle-clone band in Cleveland known as The Grasshoppers — they appeared quite regularly on a Saturday afternoon music show run by Joe Mayer, a local DJ who was also their manager. The band had a couple of hits … just enough to get Ben going — the other 3 members of The Grasshoppers seemed to just drift away … but not before they joined a few other local bands as lead-in to The Beatles at Public Hall — 1964 (?) …
He was an amazing musician and a very good friend … I was very distressed when a mutual buddy of ours called me one day in late-August, 2000, to tell me that Ben had pancreatic cancer. He was dead within 6 weeks …
Mine keep getting deleted. Love the repo man.
So do the banks.
Meh. Something hates my posts, but there are couple of who does it better here. Ree vs Bruce is just one example.
I guess Mick Mars’ gear-shifting guitar intro to “Kickstart” by Mötley Crüe counts?
What, nobody posted these so I will !!!!!!
