LOS ANGELES, CA — Several news crews raced to the scene of a reported shooting this morning to determine whether details of the shooting might prove politically useful or not.
“I’m Dana Stormcloud with ABC 7 News, and I’m here at the scene of a horrific mass shooting that took place right on this street corner,” said one reporter. “Wait–I’m getting reports that the shooter was an illegal immigrant. Ok, never mind! Pack it up, people! Nothing to see here!”
News crews quickly left the scene of the crime, only to slam their brakes and rush back to the scene after reports that the illegal immigrant was a Trump supporter.

I wrote a guest Commentary letter (about 500 words, “Commentaries” can be <650) about "Cultural Marxism" (i.e. leftism, progressives) and sent it to the local paper for consideration. They chopped around 350 words clean out of it, made a new snappy headline, rewrote somewhat EVERY SINGLE OTHER SENTENCE that remained, and published it with MY name as a "Letter to the Editor" (those are <150 words).
While the message of the shorter version was very similar, isn't that worse than censorship? Shouldn't they at least ask? Good thing they didn't slander someone.
You should see what AP does with the raw news feeds……four of them in quadrants with three screens of raw feed and they discuss amongst themselves how to “couch”each story….like a leftist brain(sic) storming session to spit out false and misleading headlines and fake news.truly a sausage making event…….you get a lot of access being a hvac man.they were doing their jobs,ditto for me…
