No CARS For YOU – WEF Calls For The End To Private Car Ownership
Car ownership will soon be outlawed. The World Economic Forum (WEF) wants you to give up your car, truck or SUV. They want car ownership to be outlawed because The Great Reset is about control and tightening the grip on your freedom. They ask if your car is really necessary? The World Economic Forum doesn’t think so. The WEF has published a paper that calls for an end to “wasteful” private car ownership in favor of communal sharing to lessen global demands for precious metals and fossil fuels.
The unelected elites in Geneva, Switzerland, claim that too many people own private vehicles for the planet’s good. Most are barely driven and a universal model that will take consumers “from owning to using” their cars is the way forward. They state that “The average car or van in England is driven just 4% of the time.” Instead of having vehicles sit idle, sell your car and walk or share because “Car sharing platforms have already seized that opportunity to offer vehicles where you pay per hour used.” This was found unsuccessful in the US and especially during the pandemic.

I was a driver instructor fro a dozen years and taught over 1000 people an 8 hour driving course. Most were in the 15 to 19 year old age bracket. But some were in 30 to even 60 year old range, and they never had a license. I would tell them the first day. When you get your license you will have freedom like you never did before. You have to get a car of course. But then you’ll never have to wait on anybody to do something ever again. You’ll have access to jobs you never did before, woman and men you never did before, you can go meet family and friends like you never did before. You’ll have the potential for a better life than you ever had. This would move them from scared shitless, to let’s go. As the Scottish would say, Klaus Schwab and retards like him can kiss me arse.
I got my first license at almost age 17, and I never looked back. I went from the shithole of Chicago to the beauty and freedom of Alaska by the time I was 21. I have been to 49 states and about a dozen countries, and the best part of any travel was always the road trip. The best drive on the planet is from Whitehorse Canada to Skagway Alaska.
I’m the opposite – I really hate cars (except as art).

I also love to walk. The car is just a tool of freedom. I really don’t love cars. It’s the freedom that comes with them.

similar sentiment here. i dont particularly like cars, but they’re a tool for getting things done which , without them, would simply not be possible in a practicable manner. yes, we also have a horse, and yes, in our AO many or most paths are only foot paths anyway, uneven mountainous terrain, but still, you cant realistically load more than a couple hundred pounds on the horse and negotiate such paths, and thats still with yourself on foot walking the animal, all at like one mile per hour real speed.
cars can get us anywhere in the region in an hour, with company, tools, cargo, etc.

I concur. Nothing like the beauty and vastness of the north. It can be harsh but the beauty of it is in its rawness.

The rich will still want their car collections, so ownership will be OK, just general use of them on the public roads will be outlawed. Peasant class cars will just be made too expensive to use if they can’t find another way to separate the little people from them.
The rich can afford track days and “special permit” vehicles and licensing, the little people won’t be able to. The little people will get mass transit, if they are lucky.

It’s not that they want to take your car to end global warming. It’s that they’re using the “climate change” scam to take your car (and your autonomy). “Climate change” was always and everywhere only a tool to wrest control from individuals.

Owning cars could be seen as a poor tax. $5k of gas and maintenance is a lot easier to afford if you’re making $100k than $25k.
