My father was in declining health at that time so out of deference to him, I took flu shots 2 or 3 consecutive years in October. And every year before Thanksgiving rolled around, I got down and dirty, bed-ridden sick as shit. After dad passed in 1987 I quit taking flu shots, and for the past 35 years I haven’t been sick outside of a minor sore throat or head cold lasting a day or 2. In all seriousness, last year I had a quadruple bypass done in a major NY hospital. Of course, they had fired all their critical thinkers, i.e. un-vaxxed nurses, leaving only vaxxed and mostly inexperienced nurses. In cardio-thoraic ICU, a nurse normally cannot work there unless she has at least 5 years experience, but at this hospital I had nurses caring for me in ICU that were out of nursing school ranging from 4 months to 1 year….and that lack of experience showed! They had not even mastered nursing 101, let alone critical care.
Thankfully, my wife is a retired critical care nurse, and I’m a former paramedic. Between the two of us, we ensured they didn’t kill me. Though we were professional about how we interacted with them, and tried to teach them, they didn’t like us questioning/correcting them and were glad to see us leave. One funny bit was how horrified they were when they found I could read my cardiac monitor/EKG far better than they could and I hadn’t even seen one for nearly 15 years!
Anyway, beware if you go to a hospital staffed only with vaxxed nurses. It’s quite dangerous.
