Fox News Decision to settle Dominion lawsuit for more than three-quarters of a billion dollars makes no sense

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Something fishy here.

First, corporate executives don’t give away $787 million of shareholders’ money without a test of the claim in court.  The uncontested amount is so large that one wonders if Fox News itself paid it or whether this almost $800 million was a gift funneled through an uncontested lawsuit to fund Dominion by our ruling elites. Once elections are determined by how voting machines are programmed, the people are disenfranchised.

Second, it is not defamation to report the news.  Tucker Carlson reported the claims of experts.  That is news reporting.  Dominion’s defamation lawsuit should have been filed against the experts.  It wasn’t, because the experts had the evidence.

Third, Experts supplied evidence that the Dominion voting machines could be programmed to count votes differently from how the votes were cast; experts supplied evidence that the machines could be hacked; experts supplied evidence that the voting machines were connected to the Internet.  Fox News could have called these experts as expert witnesses. By agreeing to settle, Fox News refused the evidence its day in court.  Why?

A possible explanation is that Fox News, voluntarily or involuntarily, participated in an orchestration that established the precedent that reporting news different from the narrative, or news that is unfavorable to a person, company, or government institution, is defamation.  Think about what this means.  A prosecutor who charges a person with a crime has defamed the person.  Truth becomes unreportable. Investigative reporter Seymour Hersh could be charged for defamation, and for being a Russian agent, for reporting that the US government destroyed the Nord Stream pipeline.

When we see the few truth-tellers who are the stars of their organizations jettisoned–Tucker Carlson from Fox News, Matt Taibbi from Rolling Stone, Glenn Greenwald from The Intercept, James O’Keefe from Project Veritas, President Trump charged under a non-existent law, and Wikileaks’ Julian Assange imprisoned for a decade without due process, we must face the fact that there is an organized conspiracy to suppress truth.  We are experiencing the completion of The Matrix in which expressed doubt or even unspoken suspicion of official narratives are criminal offenses.

Truth-tellers receive almost nonexistent support.  The inescapable conclusion is that in the Western world truth has no future.

My thoughts were, Domnion now has credibility that its machines produce a fair election result.
This is of course absurd. Facts counter to that have been amply provided.
Big win for the enslavement of us and Fox won’t be paying a dime from its coffers.

Love that phrase of evaluation.
“This, of course, absurd.”

Stuck with me, when reading Emmit Foxx’s book The Sermon on the Mount in a chapter where he describes the flawed belief of having license to hold fast to a grudge for having been the recipient of maltreatment.
The “I have a right to be angry ” mindset which is really a poor choice that punishes not the one who supposedly caused the ill treatment, but the one who harbors the bitter resentment, which foments a psychological cancer that obstructs a divine peace, where the owner of it cannot thrive, by refusing to accept what happened in the past, move on from it, and learn how not to remain stuck in bitterness & vitriol.

Tough to adopt, but worthy of consideration, no less.
~I certainly haven’t mastered the concept, but can still recognize its wisdom.

The problem with that ‘turn the other cheek and just forget it’ philosophy is that eventually you get it right up the ass. The MFers who deign to rule never rest or stop advancing

Anger, jealousy, envy, revenge, covetousness etc. do not hurt or harm the target they only damage the holder of the negative emotions. Emmet Fox’s writings explain and expound on these great truths/wisdom. Would that more of us read and comprehended Fox’s metaphysical writings (based upon the truths of Christ’s teachings); the world would be a much better place. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This is simple. Blackrock, who owns most of Dominion, essentially sues itself, since it owns most of Fox. It makes money, since Fox stock drop is going to drop and Blackrock short sells the heck out of it. I bet you that Blackrock doesn’t own the insurance company that probably has to pay out for Fox News liability, if that is the case. Plus, Deep State censorship is guaranteed. Overall, a pretty sweet deal for the most involved.

Not most of either company, around 15% of each plus they are balls-deep into pharma companies. This just moved same money from right pocket to left pocket before paying it back to right pocket as advertising.

The ‘right people’ get a skim off the top each time the money moves.

“The ‘right people’ get a skim off the top each time the money moves.”
You mean the Jews who run Blackrock and the rest of the banks. Yep that’s an accurate observation .

It’s an accounting trick and political stunt.
No money moved from Fāx;more likely, money poored in when they sold the story as real.

My suspicions?
Fāx Spews and Tucker manufactured the entire event…for reasons…..

Blackrock owns 59 million shares of Dominion.
Blackrock owns 47 million shares of Fox.
Blackrock sued itself and fired Tucker Carlson as part of the lawsuit.

Minority stakes. Arizona Bay’s comment above makes more sense: ownership in pharma means they don’t want pharma harmed. Also insurance.

The Dominion lawsuit was a sham, it was theater, a PSYOP to further implant into the minds of the masses Joe Biden (who campaigned from his basement) “won” the 2020 presidential election fair and square; anyone who says differently even if they have evidence will be demonized, ostracized, prosecuted (persecuted) in the courts.
Question: Why did Dominion file the lawsuit in the first place knowing there was ample evidence against them?
Answer: The courts are owned by the plutocrats who own this country. Dominion (and their backers) knew they would receive a favorable outcome
Remember all the sworn affidavits that were filed about 2020 election irregularities which were ignored or thrown out by various state and lower federal courts? Since when have sworn affidavits not been accepted in a US court of law?! The US legal system was always flawed and pro owner class even during colonial times. But now we are witnessing the rapid devolution of the US into a plutocratic kakistocracy.

Murdock has vast shares of Dominion and Fox.
Fox paying a fine to Dominion is like taking money from the left pocket and putting it the right pocket of the same pair of pants!
