When OKC happened all news was speculating on a Muslim attack. They said there was a large mid east population there. Within two hours the narrative shifted across all stations to now say ; right wingers did it.

The initial news reports all talked about multiple bombs inside the building as well. Then the narrative shifted to a lone wolf with a truck bomb.

I was in OKC the morning of the bombing, at the Holiday Inn (working the week at Jokers Comedy Club, so don’t try and make any connection). Definitely 2 separate explosions, about 30-60 seconds apart. Every local news station reported on it that morning, then it disappeared from every account.
There was also a second suspect called John Doe #2. They stopped looking for him after they got their hands on McVeigh and now it’s as if he never existed.
Witnesses at the time said they remembered seeing two men at the Ryder truck-rental outlet in Junction City, Kan., where investigators traced the rented vehicle. Two men were also reportedly seen eating at a Denny’s restaurant in Junction City five days before the attack. One of the men is believed to have been Mr. McVeigh. The other was never identified and never found.
John Doe 2 was the subject of an intensive manhunt. Authorities offered a $2 million reward on his head. The FBI described him as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10. His sketch, released by the FBI the day after the bombing, shows dark hair swept straight back, strong eyebrows, a square jaw and a powerful neck.
The FBI, which isn’t taking these claims seriously, now says that John Doe 2 probably never existed. But he was once a prime suspect in the April 19, 1995, bombing when a Ryder truck filled with nearly 5,000 pounds of fertilizer and fuel oil blew up, killing 168 people.

No question that the truck bomb was a diversion as the real damage was done by charges in the vertical supporting columns of the building.
The Oklahoma Bombing Investigation Committee wrote a book called “Final Report”. Excellent Analysis. I was an OKIE at the time of the bombing…knew some of the guys looking closely at the bombing game. (Also, almost worked for Ben Partin’s outfit back in my flying days.)
An old guy was telling us years ago, long before OKC about how he wanted to hear a big explosion and made an ANFO bomb when he was a kid.. He got a couple of hundred pounds in a shallow hole and had a shielded position like 50 yards away and set it off. It temporarily deafened him and broke every window in a two mile radius. I cannot imagine three tons enhanced with TOVEX, let alone 30 tons, or, ten OKC level party poppers.
No way in hell that was a truck bomb. Bombs inside the building blew the building outward when they exploded. That’s why there were many pieces of the building laying across the street. Of course the government could settle this by releasing all the video footage from cameras that would have captured it, but we know that will never happen.
