They’re Stacking Up

Guest Post by Eric Peters

It’s nearly 2024 and there’s a two-month-plus supply of cars – many of them 2023 models – waiting to be sold before they become last year’s models. Most of these waiting-to-be-sold models are electric cars that aren’t selling because (drum roll, please) buyers don’t want them.

Never before in the history of the car business has the cart been put before the horse – as it has when it comes to electric cars.

Government has been interceding between car buyers and car manufacturers for more than half-a-century, imposing requirements that new cars must have equipment such as seat belts and air bags and back-up cameras, irrespective of the buyer’s desire to pay for them or his lack of desire to have them in his car.

It has decreed bumper-impact standards and even gone so far as to require that speedometers be dialed back to register no faster than 85 MPH.

But not until just recently did the government (feeling its oats, no doubt) go for broke and order the car manufacturers to build only one type of car – the electric car – and never mind whether people will buy them.

We see the results collecting dust on new car lots all around the country.

Of course, this was inevitable once it was allowed to pass that the federal government had any legitimate (constitutional, moral) business interposing itself between car buyers and car manufacturers. This began half-a-century ago, when self-styled “consumer advocates” such as Ralph Nader presumed to “advocate” for “consumers” – who were implicitly too stupid to form their own decisions and use their buying power to influence the car manufacturers to build cars they were willing to buy.

These “advocates” succeeded in leveraging the government to impose on “consumers” equipment such as seat belts and air bags – both of which had previously been made available to “consumers” (loathsome term; it smacks of hogs at the trough) who were free to buy them if they wished.

And free to not buy them, if they didn’t wish.

That was back in the Before Times, when people who bought things were still customers – and had the power to buy what they wanted without interference from “advocates” (or the government).

They were not made to consume whatever was placed before them – like hogs at the trough.

Once the “advocates” got their way – even just a little bit (and so it seemed at the time; what was the harm, after all, in having seatbelts in cars?) the precedent was set that got us to where we find ourselves now. The government – suffused with “advocates” – insists  people must have electric cars and that the manufacturers must build nothing but.

A problem arises, though.

It is getting the horse to pull the cart when he has the option not to.

The government can (and has) decreed that nothing but electric cars will be permissible to manufacture – via being the only kinds of vehicles that are compliant with federal regulations pertaining to how much gas a car you choose to buy is allowed to use (and if that’s not sufficient, how much of a gas that does not cause pollution it is allowed to “emit”).

But it hasn’t decreed that buyers must purchase them.

Yet.

But it will. Because it must. Because that is the only way the government will be able to clear the inventory glut of electric cars people don’t want to buy. And the way it will make them buy electric cars is by making it illegal to keep the cars they have that aren’t electric.

Or too costly.

The government will say: Due to the climate crisis, only zero emissions electric cars will be permitted on public (that is, government-controlled) roads. You may keep your non-electric car.

Provided it’s parked.

Or they will say: Due to the climate crisis, we are levying a carbon tax on every vehicle that isn’t a zero emissions electric vehicle. Never mind that plenty of “carbon” is “emitted” via the burning of hydrocarbon fuels to generate the electricity that powers “zero emissions” electric cars. These taxes will be exorbitant. Most people won’t be able to afford to pay them.

Via such means and methods, the government will – so it hopes – clear the glut of EV inventory that is collecting dust at new car lots all around the country.

Except for one other problem.

Even if people no longer have any choice to buy something other than an electric car, if they cannot pay for it, they still can’t buy it. The government might as well decree that everyone in the country buy an “energy efficient” $600,000 house – else live under a bridge. Paraphrasing Margaret Thatcher – from the Before Time – after awhile you run out of other people’s money to spend.

The government lacks the means to pay everyone who currently owns a car to buy an electric car because it has no means except those it extracts from those it is forcing to buy electric cars. At some point, the bill comes due – only in this case there’ll be no one left with the means to pay it.

They can prohibit the sale or use (or insuring of) gas cars, but they can’t force people to buy EV’s. They can strongly incent EV purchases, but can’t force them. And there are (at least for now) currently too many facets of life that cannot realistically be accomplished with EV’s – construction, various trades etc. that the economy would totally shut down without allowing gas cars and trucks to continue in operation.

Nobody’s more worried than me about what the globalists would LIKE to achieve, but you can’t make a 300 pound guy lose weight by buying him pants with a 29 inch waist.

The rubber is really going to hit the road with California’s demand that heavy trucks be electric. Not technically possible. How will goods move from west coast ports Eastward? Simple answer is that they won’t.

it could work but will double the need for trucks. you drive from one terminal to another drop the tractor and grab a fresh steed from the pool and move to the next terminal. from these regional terminals smaller med duty trucks take the local deliveries also using a am truck and pm truck so there is zero down time just 10 mins to swap out tractors and do a walk around pee and hit the road

you are aware that adolph was a popular leader elected by popular vote and with the full backing of the nation….upon reconstruction after ww1 germany was offered a loan from the imf . when hittler declined and used crowd sourcing for the funds and made sure every family had a home a car a job annual vacations and so on the money changers took exception to this refusal to enslave his nation with debt greece style circa 2k wher loans made were pocketed and the payments were taken from the people. only the terms of the loans were the interest came before social programs its called austerity. its forced on every nation saddled with nonpayable debt to the khazarian mafia to reduce social spending and prioritize repayment. often land is used as collateral in the event repayments delayed. through out history a few others rebuilt after a war with out becoming beholden to the shysters and schuchsters in the rothchild khazarian mafia. bashar assad of syria saddam husain of irac kadaffi of lybia and finally putin. there are more but suffice it to say when one refuses the rkms mandates they are called hittler in the khazarian media and their nations bombed into the ground…if you take a moment and listen to the last speech hittler gave before he sent the first vengeance rocked across the channel he apologized to the people of britan and stated that demon churchhill was to blame. the fact was britan bombed germany for 6 months prior to his sending a single bomb. hittler begged for it to stop. once the germans saw the bankers methods of operation and the source of these attacks he then and only then went after the jewish folks. but not to kill but to enslave for the war factories. yes thousands dies of starvation and illness but not one was executed for their belief’s and made into lamp shades. theres a trilion dollar industry in the holohoax and its been leveraged to manipulate the masses for thousands of years.
its been used to make calls against the wholesale slaughter of true semetic peoples a crime in western nations to ensure their grasp on the narritive… caus e the question is if 6 gorillion died then how did the sensus show 8 million in net gain during those years? believe nothing you hear and half of what you see every single lesson taught in school was a LIE! and for the most part still is for todays youth…men can get pregnant and woman can have a penis dont you know?

Correct, just a hint to the slob…nm.

The fucking caskets sure are heavy for the pallbearers and I’ve witnessed some fat ass toads that help carry them pass out especially in some areas of Texas with record breaking heat and, then, add humidity. Probably the same in Louisiana , Mississippi, Alabama , Georgia and Florida. There is something to speculation even after being embalmed a newly decaying body gains weight from moisture I suppose. I’ve noticed this in remarks among pallbearers the deceased “seemed” to have weighed more as the funeral progressed.

teslas rapid charge stations cost as much as a tank of fuel. however the range is half doubling the costs per mile above the costs of acquiring the thing. so you sit around for 45 mins if your able to find a open and functional charge station. now where does this power come from? commiefornia has had times where they prohibit charging electric autos due to grid capacity . the govt can control all movement when they have all connected electric cars with the nanny watching every mover. be seen at a protest your car wont move. post up the truth and piss off the deep state or make a statement about the ongoing murder of civilians in palastine and your antisemitic ass will walk every where and will be starved out of existence by the cbdc monetary system… the pharisees want control over the planet to enslave all, equity means all people will be poor serfs who serve the elite. all freedoms and ability to move and make a living will be controlled and denied any one no fully in support of the party. yeah that party from orwells book . the one at war in perpetuity against free thought you know where 2 plus 2 equals 5 and woman have penises and men can have babies….

All good. I agree. But the left has been notably resistant to court orders. The supreme court said Biden did not have the authority to unilaterally forgive student and he just does it anyway. They are in and out of court on the censorship thing and they just ignore whatever the courts say. At this point they are ramping up censorship preparing for the 2024 election. They actually claimed they needed censorship in order to have free speech. A bazaar point. They are clearly violating a bunch of laws on the open border gig. The Biden admin is currently arguing in the Supreme Court that a “wealth tax” is constitutional. Jack Smith and others are violating title 18 section 242 right now and they do not care. Nothing has been done about the systemic election fraud in 2020 and 2022.

they will pressure the insurance underwriters to either charge huge sums for older autos or claim that non ai equipped nanny cars connected to the control grid can be insured. thats how they will phase out older autos. they will claim they are dangerous and require breathalyzers and driver monitoring. if the ai detects aggressive driving it slows the car and reports you to the insurance company and your rates jump on the spot and the state can levy fines automatically like they do with speed cameras. the industry will be regulated to death. and with out the mandated insurance coverage no vehicle registrations will be issued subjecting scoff laws to arrest and seizure of the non compliant vehicles. then comes the carbon score. if your ankle bracelet determines that you have exceeded your allotment for the month then the car wont turn on. after forcing the world onto electric cars they will then say they made a mistake and the electric generation facilities are polluting the air and those have to go.. you see this rapist slides it in slowly in small increments. as long as the victim does not holler they keep sticking it in deeper and deeper until your fucked ! yep silence is manufactured consent and those who like being corn holed have made it painful for the rest of the planet cause now wee find them sticking it to us from every angle . germany is already regulating gas autos off the car lots by 2026 and by 2030 you will own nothing and be happy as klause schwabs nut deep in your ass hole!

One aspect of today’s modern cars that I find most annoying is that fact that they have become increasingly more complex over the years such that there is not much you can do to repair them yourself. Other than oil and filter changes you’ll need to have work done is a shop that’s going to cost $100+ and hour which often ends up in the thousands.

The very first car I ever drove was a Model A Ford and as a teenager at the time there wasn’t anything on that car I couldn’t fix myself.

Even into the 1950s cars were easily worked on by the average person. It was in the 1960 with the introduction of emission control systems with computer chips that cars began to become more complex.

Todays cars have anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 chips controlling everything. The last car I bought I was told that any work done to modify any of the electrical system would void the warranty. I waited until the warranty was up before I made changes.

40% of the cost of a car today is in the electronics.

Why can’t they build a simple low-cost car without all that fancy crap, one that a person can work on themselves?
But then I guess the question answers itself, they want you dependent to where they can make more money.

The left’s entire electric car frenzy is strange and bazaar. It is not founded in science. It is not economic. The whole time they are pushing electric cars they are trying to eliminate fossil fuels which generate the electric vehicle go juice – which does not make any sense at all. The majority of people are not going to go out and buy electric cars. They don’t want them and/or can’t afford them. It is just not going to happen. So, the entire electric car thing is going to collapse under its own weight like many other leftist policy initiatives. If we are able to cut through the systemic election fraud in 2024 and elect Trump then the entire thing will be flushed along with a bunch of other irrational policy initiatives like the open border thing.

Most leftist policy initiatives, no matter how ridiculous they appear on the surface, actually do have some thinking behind them. I have been trying to figure out what they are really up to with the electric car stuff. All I can come up with is they hope to someday be able to implement a carbon passport and associated digital central bank currency. The combination of those two things will basically enslave us. Then they can do whatever they want to us. For instance, if they do not want people to be able to travel to DC to protest systemic election fraud, they can limit your carbon usage and you will have to decide whether to heat or cool your house or go to the protest. They could make it so you would not be able to charge your car outside of your state or any other lame dictate they want. It is all very un-American and dangerous. I do not believe America is at the point it is willing to accept that kind of tyranny. It has become pretty obvious America is not going to accept the electric car tyranny. We will see what happens with that.

The organizations that are ultimately responsible for pushing the EVs (and other green energy nonsense), such as the WEF and other NWO organizations, know full well that man-made climate change is a hoax. (However most of the rank and file members of the Left think man-made climate change is real. They are the useful idiots that the NWO is using to implement the EV mandates.) But they are using it as an excuse to mandate EVs, because they want the general population to drive EVs because they can be easily controlled to restrict when and where they can be driven, when and where they can be charged, etc. TPTB will use the EVs and CBDCs tied to a social credit score (or something similar) to deny travel to anyone that they want to control.

And they will get it done. You are correct that the American public is not willing to accept the EV tyranny, but the NWO will get most of the sheeple to accept EVs, just as they got most of the sheeple to accept the COVID-19 scamdemic tyranny. The (deliberately) dumbed down public is no match for the NWO, especially now that they are using AI that is far superior to the AI that is available to the general public.

Remember the big hurricane a few years back in Florida where there were massive traffic jams of people trying to get out of harms way? Gas stations were closed because their tanks were empty and cars were getting stranded on the highway. At which time Elon stepped in and voila, had a code sent out to his cars that extended the range up to an additional 20% (by allowing the battery to drain further-often an unhealthy thing to do to a battery)? All with the flick of a switch-new code is installed on the fly and the problem is fixed. One might hazard a guess that things could work just the opposite and EVs could be stopped dead in their tracks should that be desired.

In fact, as tempting as a LM drive train is I am hesitant because of the computer control.

Get a ’68 F-100 and you avoid all the emissions crap. The ’69 had-as Ford called it-“a specially calibrated distributor” and a similar bullshit description for the wimpy Autolite carbureator. A simple re-curve of the distributor’s mechanical and vacuum advance and installation of a Holley 350 or 500 cfm carb and you are off to the races. Don’t bother with the PCV unless you have a lot of blowby. Not sure when they started using a chip, but it wasn’t until sometime after ’69. If you are lucky you might get 14mpg-of even 15 if your drive the hills of the Ozarks and don’t go over 50 mph.

the ev making companies like gm & ford, will go broke – the idiocy of the brandon administration…how about asking people or offering sensible alternatives, like hybrids or even the up & coming hydrogen (cleaner burning) cars…anyone can see the idiot(& compromised) brandon has “promoted” ev’s only to destroy car companies & the u.s. economy—is gm’s ceo barra a climate zealot or a business moron?—the only way companies like gm will ever recover from their ev idiocies is through a tax-payer bailout…and the tax payer does not have the money nor the desire—so, it ain’t going to happen!

“sensible alternatives, like hybrids ”

That is like saying one agrees with EVs only half way. Batteries are the same “environmental” talking points.

“The government lacks the means to pay everyone who currently owns a car to buy an electric car because it has no means except those it extracts from those it is forcing to buy electric cars.”

Very true. But the government has no intention of having everyone who currently owns a car get an EV. For starters, they are going to drastically reduce the population as part of their Agenda 2030 plans. (The clot shots are part of that population reduction plan, but their kill rate is going to increase greatly in the not-too-distant future.) And secondly, they have no intention of allowing all of the survivors to have a car – EV or otherwise. Many of the survivors will be restricted to mass transit, bicycles, walking, etc for their transportation. That is part of the reason for the 15-minute cities that everyone is going to be herded into.
