Are there any legitimate “fact check” sites?

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

When Dr. Haruo Ozaki, Chairman of the Tokyo Medical Association said at a press conference on Feb. 9, 2021, that Japanese doctors should be permitted to use Ivermectin to treat Covid, the American whore media went berserk .

The presstitutes and “fact-checker” sites (actually disinformation sites) spoke as one pointing out that Ozaki is not the health minister.  Among those anxious to throttle any talk of a real cure were AP News, Reuters, Tech ARP, Factcheck, PolitiFact, Snopes, Public health Communications Collaborative, USA Today, Poynter, and Full Fact.

Why were so many so eager to suppress any talk of Ivermectin as a cure for a disease that was allegedly a major pandemic killing huge numbers of people?  The answer is obvious. Ivermectin is a cure and a preventative, but this information had to be suppressed.  Otherwise the untested vaccine could not be used under Emergency Use Authorization.

We now know that the “vaccine” has had devastating health effects on millions of people.  In contrast, Ivermectin has been in wide successful use for decades against a number of health threats and has an outstanding safety record.  If an unproven and untested “vaccine” could be mandated, why couldn’t a known safe medicine be tried?  As the main treatment–ventilators–was failing, Ivermectin could do no worse.

As it has turned out, those treated with Ivermectin survived, but those who were “vaccinated” are suddenly dropping dead all over the world.

I believe an investigation would reveal that “fact check” sites are funded by Big Pharma and other interest groups with their own agendas who advance their agendas by controlling narratives.  The narratives are lies, and often deadly lies.

To ask a question is to be a white supremacist.
Wait a minute, I just wrote a sentence so I’m a white supremacist too. Who do I give forty acres and a mule to for atonement? Oh no, I just asked a question and presented a math problem.

If you believe in civilization and civil conduct with the other responsible citizens among you, you are White Supremacist. Embrace the label proudly, or bend over for more.

The whole concept escapes me. I thought fact checking was the responsibility of each individual? We are all exposed to narratives, messages, explanations, fables, myths, documents, sermons, anecdotes, histories, parables, fairy tales, stories, films, and books throughout our lifetimes and from the aggregate of these influences we become the person we are.

We’ve never required an interlocutor before, we were always left to synthesize the sum total of experience and apply or discard whatever parts we found valuable or immaterial. That was the very foundation of free will.

The premise is itself a contradiction; the public cannot be trusted to discern the truth, therefore another person who is just like you (we are all equal) will do it for you.

You cannot be trusted to decide what is real or false, but another person can?

The most consistent part of this new development is that it stands in opposition to the founding principles of its advocates. The only consistency they demonstrate is inconsistency.

A person, any person, is in no way able to fact check everything. Trust is a must in many areas of your life.

And trust cannot be given to a stranger, that’s a truth I don’t need to fact check.

One of the molecules where perfection enema’izing the good works.

Like “All men” & facts, & mentalities, & perspectival philosophies “are created equal” does not accord equal outcomes, or incomes -trust?- to “all men.”

Or even “any” other “men.” And especially not to such men as pen such words.

Trust is a musty reliquary-labelled Pandora’s Box (at the bottom of which, foundational content, pollute-seeping up, is hope).

Cuz Maslow blows, call it Diablo’s hierarchy of requisites: Let liars lie.

No Mulligans.

Which is a fact to confound fact addicts. And no way to warm that turkey up. It’s cold turkey or keep feeding that aback monkey.

FACTA is (mis/)trustee in the prison cuz trusties in the prison (remember vaunted Swiss banking/neutrality?) are not trustworthy.

And that fact in the hierarchy is all anybody needs know/embrace to proceed/comport correctly … or factually.

“High trust society” I’ve seen pedestalized & wistfully “remembered.” Many trust-lollipops born a’minute is exactly how what’s come to pass has come to pass.

That, & the path of least resistance being the roman road superhighway.

Most people I’ve known, or just observed, here on “spaceship earth” switch post haste to the standard lifeboat scenario when the bailing/bilge pumps start – if not before.

Every “created equal” has got a plan until punched in the mouth, said Iron Mike. Or even micro-aggressed against.

Jack London … broil:

You see, this was the working-theory of the hall-men. There were thirteen of us. We had something like half a thousand prisoners in our hall. We were supposed to do the work, and to keep order. The latter was the function of the guards, which they turned over to us. It was up to us to keep order; if we didn’t, we’d be fired back to hard labor, most probably with a taste of the dungeon thrown in. But so long as we maintained order, that long could we work our own particular grafts.

Bear with me a moment and look at the problem. Here were thirteen beasts of us over half a thousand other beasts. It was a living hell, that prison, and it was up to us thirteen there to rule. It was impossible, considering the nature of the beasts, for us to rule by kindness. We ruled by fear. Of course, behind us, backing us up, were the guards. In extremity we called upon them for help; but it would bother them if we called upon them too often, in which event we could depend upon it that they would get more efficient trusties to take our places. But we did not call upon them often, except in a quiet sort of way, when we wanted a cell unlocked in order to get at a refractory prisoner inside. In such cases all the guard did was to unlock the door and walk away so as not to be a witness of what happened when half a dozen hall-men went inside and did a bit of man-handling.

As regards the details of this man-handling I shall say nothing. And after all, man-handling was merely one of the very minor unprintable horrors of the Erie County Pen. I say “unprintable”; and in justice I must also say “unthinkable.” They were unthinkable to me until I saw them, and I was no spring chicken in the ways of the world and the awful abysses of human degradation. It would take a deep plummet to reach bottom in the Erie County Pen, and I do but skim lightly and facetiously the surface of things as I there saw them.

At times, say in the morning when the prisoners came down to wash, the thirteen of us would be practically alone in the midst of them, and every last one of them had it in for us. Thirteen against five hundred, and we ruled by fear. We could not permit the slightest infraction of rules, the slightest insolence. If we did, we were lost. Our own rule was to hit a man as soon as he opened his mouth–hit him hard, hit him with anything. A broom-handle, end-on, in the face, had a very sobering effect. But that was not all. Such a man must be made an example of; so the next rule was to wade right in and follow him up. Of course, one was sure that every hall-man in sight would come on the run to join in the chastisement; for this also was a rule. Whenever any hall-man was in trouble with a prisoner, the duty of any other hall-man who happened to be around was to lend a fist. Never mind the merits of the case–wade in and hit, and hit with anything; in short, lay the man out. ~The Pen, Jack London

Critical thinking and accepting personal responsibility is White supremacy and you are no doubt guilty of at least one hate crime. Wear the label proudly, or bend over for more. Conservatives need to stop caving to name calling, and/or waiting for some spiritual welfare office from the great beyond to do what we should do for ourselves.

Irony is the the bit of TOE kit that holds this self-cutting universe together.

Physicists’ll never find/quantify it.

And finding a physicist to champion the many, many gulag – Asylumed “madmen” (women, too) mailing in that submission, a la The Professor & The Madman, main-manifest characters what cobbled together the OED Books of Runes, is a Swan-so-Black prospect that Black Holes & Big Bangs migrating mysteriously across many, many Borders of Time & Space, all with Biden For President bumper stickers stuck on, is relatively more/as common as beach sand grains queue-gravity-sifting thru the Hourglass that holds/binds all the 1/2 full, 1/2 empty, Wrong Prescription, Ourglasses Mr. MaGooing their way & up/down/up ♾️ the works.

Shit man, we can’t even rely on constants, so called. Sure water boils at 212 degrees. But that is only at sea level. Even the speed of light changes a little bit. Lotta constants go out to several or more digits beyond zero. It appears that trial and error got us what we got, indicating that the Source experimented until all the constants worked together once they were refined.

The double-slit experiment proved to numerous physicists of old that consciousness is fundamental. The modern guys ignore the facts mostly as that is good to do for their careers. Who do you trust? How do you verify? Krishnamurti said, “The observer is the observed.” And that “You are the world.” Okay, so all together now:

Consciousness created the world,

not the other way around.

Yes, nature came

after

consciousness. And we know that how? Intuition, experiment, and reason. But wait, we mortals with just satisfactory brains have doubts. Preachers, pols, professors, and vast numbers of other liars guard their stations with plausible arguments. How is the common man to trust anything? By “fact checking” as you say above? I don’t think so. The rational thing to do is doubt until such time as your own experiments tell you what is real. Krishnamurti said, “Keep your doubts on a leash.” Yes, we doubt. Belief is rather stupid considering the mystery all around us and when constants that we rely on to exist at all go out to eight digits. The sun comes up every morning whether I believe it or not. Well, it does if you don’t live in the far north.

The sun comes up every morning…

That was a great example. I notice you didn’t say the Earth rotates into the Sun every morning

Now we’re back to personal perceptions. I trust those more than some other guys explanation of what’s happening. I used to, but then I observed people enough over a long enough period of time to learn that there are far more reliable methods than accepting their version of reality.

No, bias always exists. There is no way to eliminate it. That is very different from the dishonest stuff we see today though, which is outright lies. i. e. DeSantis and Abbot bused illegals to blue cities even thought they didn’t drive to bus, but Biden didn’t fly illegals to Florida, because he didn’t fly the plane!

No problem. We won’t do fact checking anymore, we’ll just call it….

Study Suggests Rebranding a “Fact-Check” as a “Confirmation” to Help Make “Corrections of Information” More Palatable

The primary purpose of the study is to find out what motivates online users to spread information that has been “fact-checked” – in other words, how to up the level of such engagement…

According to its authors, the study’s findings are that people preferred the “confirmation frames” version. Moreover, “confirmation” also appears to have a soothing effect on users as it results in a reduction of “self-reported negative emotions related to polarization.”

“Health-related” misinformation and “harmful” speech are cited as being of particular interest in this context.

If a news or info site does not allow free and open discussion?
It is a propaganda site-it is like they are saying to the reader: [the consumer] “Take what we say, or go elsewhere, we do not want or YOUR voice, we only need your attention. ”

The irony: Ivermectin was discovered by a Japanese reseacher-he found that the base from which Ivermectin was developed resided in a sample of soil found just outside Tokyo. He and an American who helped develop the finished product were awarded a Nobel prize for their efforts. The occurrence of novel viruses is more common in Asia and Africa and often in the wild, which helps explain that useful antidotes may be found in local soils.
