One of the most difficult things to overcome for folks like us is the notion that people respond to facts and logic. They don’t. Maybe a small percentage, under 10%, but even those are divided into groups that are able to use facts and logic to better their position, ones that lie to cover up their involvement in nefarious schemes, etc.
3% seems to be the number of good people with minds capable of analyzing data without an agenda in order to come to some sort of understanding. There is quite literally no point in trying to reach them because statistically speaking it’s a waste of time.
3% would be generous if being objective was the gold standard. Attachment to ideals and beliefs keep many separate from truth due to constant need of seeing through “their” egoic lens of judgments presumptions and prejudices just to name a few reasons it is probably closer to 1% lol lol
