An American Nobody Stares Into Mordor

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

All throughout history stories have been told by those whose insights and experiences had inspired said stories. The bestselling book in the world, the Bible, for example, is full of stories and parables that have influenced generations. Accordingly, bloggers like me and others will often reference such narratives to utilize widely-known and commonly understood history, facts, and details to make our points.  Furthermore, these universal associations can be used as launching pads, so to speak, to expand upon other ideas and perspectives.

In my early teens, I devoured the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien and his “Lords of the Rings” series beginning with “The Hobbit” and followed by “The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers”, and “The Return of the King”, respectively. I also read “The Silmarillion” which was a precursor to the other books and originating thousands of years before the fictional events of “The Hobbit”.

Over two decades ago, the “Fellowship of the Ring” movies were released in theaters. The original three films (“The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers”, and “The Return of the King”) were directed by Peter Jackson and are widely considered as cinematic masterpieces today.

Closer to Nuclear War

Guest Post by

I can’t help but wonder what proponents of America’s participation in the old Cold War dinosaur known as NATO are thinking about NATO officials who are contemplating sending NATO military personnel into Ukraine to train Ukrainian troops in their war against Russia. Those who relish the idea of nuclear war between the United States and Russia undoubtedly must be ecstatic over the possibility of such a move.

Zelensky – Dictator for Life – Investors Get Out – Ukraine Will No Longer Exist after 2027

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Many Ukrainians see Volodymyr Zelensky as a dictator who has betrayed his own country for a handful of silver. From tomorrow, May 20th, Zelensky’s presidential term is formally at an end—but no new elections will be held as long as Ukraine is under martial law because he would be overwhelmingly voted out. He preaches that Ukraine is fighting for freedom and then denies them the right to vote on his policies – so much for freedom and democracy. Zelensky has no incentive for peace at this point in time.

MIT Abandons DEI Program

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

LGBTQWe are equal in all ways besides talent. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) announced that it will end its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs because they simply do not work. Faculty at MIT will no longer be required to attend race-based training or be screened for such during the hiring process.

The Federal Reserve Continues To Pull the Wool Over Everyone’s Eyes

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

The New York Federal Reserve bank reports that US household debt has hit a new record. Americans are increasingly using credit card debt at high interest rates to pay for their living expenses. Delinquencies are rising. About 17% of Americans are using 90% or more of their credit card limit and an additional 11% are using 60-90% of their credit card limit. That means 28% of American households are heavily indebted at high interest rates that prevent their ability to pay down the debt. Many struggle to make minimum payments, which means their debt increases monthly from interest alone without new borrowing.

The Western Tower of Babel Continues Its Collapse

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

What is happening in the US is happening everywhere in the Western world. As the empire itself is rotten, so must be its constituent parts.

In the US white parents have to take their kids out of public schools, because public schools are indoctrination centers where white kids are indoctrinated that they, their parents, and their relatives are racist exploiters of “people of color” and that they are born into the wrong body and need to be sterilized in order to escape the wrong gender, thus further reducing the white birth rate.

H5N1: Truth Over Fearporn

Guest Post by Dr. Robert Malone

Fearporn definition

Fear porn refers to mainstream media content that deliberately and enticingly plays on people’s fears about disaster, disease, and death. It is often used to describe sensationalized and exaggerated reports or stories that aim to provoke strong emotional reactions, such as fear, anxiety, or outrage. This type of content can be found in various forms of media, including news, social media, and online articles.

Some definitions of fear porn also include the idea that it is used to manipulate people’s emotions and attention, often for the purpose of increasing viewership, engagement, or clicks. Fear porn can be seen as a form of psychological manipulation, as it preys on people’s natural fear responses to create a sense of drama or excitement.

Copper Roars, Gold Soars To Record Highs As Metals Hit “History-Making Mode”

Via ZeroHedge

While oil remains oddly muted amid yet another middle-eastern shock, the same can not be said for various precious metals and commodities which are soaring to start the week, and which according to Bloomberg’s Jake Lloyd-Smith, will make for a lively session in Europe and the US, with flow-through gains on the cards for mining-industry stocks that have already been put on edge as BHP Group bids to swallow (most of) Anglo American.

Copper and gold – the leading lights of the base and precious metals arenas – are in what Lloyd-Smith puts as “history making mode”, as both powered to record highs in early Monday trading. Here’s a handful of things to watch in what could be a compelling week.

Visualizing America’s Average Retirement Savings, By Age

Via ZeroHedge

Painting a concerning picture, the median retirement savings for Americans stands at a mere $87,000, a figure far lower than what is needed for a comfortable nest egg.

This savings gap—the amount people have actually saved versus what they believe is needed for retirement—is significantly rising. In fact, a recent survey from Northwestern Mutual reveals that $1.46 million is the ideal savings target for retirement, up from $1.27 million last year.

This graphic, via Visual Capitalist’s Niccolo Conte, shows the retirement savings that Americans currently hold, based on data from the Federal Reserve’s 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances.

SHE’S A MENTALLY ILL MAN, BABY

Ridicule and shaming is the solution to this bullshit. Honoring the mentally ill with awards is a fucking joke. Boo them off the podium. Throw rotten vegetables at them. Laugh at their mental illness.
