Biden Emboldens, Pipeline Problem, and Cheerio Cheney: The Week in Review

Guest Post by PF Whalen

Headline #1:          Biden Weakness Spawns Violence in Middle East

On Monday, Palestinian militants began launching rockets at Israel, resulting in Israeli airstrikes in retaliation which killed at least 35 Palestinian troops. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered Israeli troops to begin amassing near the border, and ground troops entered the Gaza Strip late on Thursday.

Thoughts and Observations:

  • What provoked these rocket launches? According to Palestinian authorities, “as long as the Israeli occupation continues to perpetrate crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, the Palestinian resistance groups, including Hamas, will respond and defend” their interests. Additionally, they pointed to the court-ordered eviction of approximately 100 Palestinians from Israeli properties for failure to pay rent. In other words, there was no justifiable reason for the rocket attacks.

“Fedcoin,” Dollar Abandonment May Signal the End of Global Reserve Status

Dollar Abandonment May Signal the End of Global Reserve Status

It certainly appears that central bank controlled digital currency is gaining even more popularity.

These “Fedcoins,” according to The Economist, “are a new incarnation of money. They promise to make finance work better but also to shift power from individuals to the state, alter geopolitics and change how capital is allocated.”

The same piece also reveals the increased level of support for digital money: “Over 50 monetary authorities, representing the bulk of global GDP, are exploring digital currencies.”

Video Shows U.S. Capitol Police Gave Protesters OK to Enter

Guest Post by Julie Kelly

A newly-obtained video shows United States Capitol Police officers speaking with several January 6 protestors—including Jacob Chansley, the so-called “Q shaman”—inside the Capitol that afternoon.

One officer, identified in the video and confirmed by charging documents as Officer Keith Robishaw, appears to tell Chansely’s group they won’t stop them from entering the building. “We’re not against . . . you need to show us . . . no attacking, no assault, remain calm,” Robishaw warns. Chansley and another protestor instruct the crowd to act peacefully. “This has to be peaceful,” Chansley yelled. “We have the right to peacefully assemble.”

Big Brother-like Tyranny: The True Plague of Our Time

Via GenZConservative

If now that you are vaccinated, you still are susceptible to every new variant, then you have put yourself in harm’s way for the final Agenda 21 die-off. I imagined, when the Covid first appeared on US TV in December of 2020, that it was the planned mass extermination model for the NWO rollout. And while the body count was high and the tv images were macabre, the corpses weren’t piling up in the streets as a 95% reduction in population would require. Afterward, as facts and statistics (revised statistics) revealed that not only wasn’t this the great die-off, even after wildly manipulated numbers, it barely achieved seasonal flu statistics.

What happened? The way my mind works, I immediately thought that something had interfered with the delivery mechanism, such as ‘James Bond’ destroying the targeting computer in ‘You Only Live Twice‘ or maybe a CIA agent forced an early release of the pathogen, before it could be completely weaponized (told you I was unstable) putting off the destruction of the human race by Spector (ooops I mean The New World Order) until the next movie.

Stucky QOTD: School Bus Cowboy

“[The couple below] converted a simple school bus into an unbelievably comfortable home. The entire bus is designed to be off-the-gird giving them perfect freedom to roam wherever they choose.”

Folks who convert school buses do so because they believe a bus is far superior in durability and safety than any RV;  from brakes to suspension to whatever, the lives of children are at stake and the regulations reflect that. Not to mention buses can easily rack up 500,000 miles without major problems.

I am seriously giving this life style some consideration.  I am single (for now), older, no kids or pets to drag along … no encumbrances whatsoever, really.  When my mom dies and I move on (and I still like the NE Arkansas area a LOT) …. why should I once again tie myself down to one house, one location, until I die??  Been there, done that. This lifestyle appears to be quite exciting!  Maybe I’m missing something.

Q1:  Would you consider this life style NOW?  If not, would you consider it later when you also have no encumbrances?
Q2:  How about some Pros and Cons of this lifestyle?  Especially, are there any “showstoppers”?

US warns extremists may strike as virus restrictions ease

WASHINGTON (AP) — A national terrorism alert issued Friday warns that violent extremists may take advantage of the easing of pandemic restrictions to conduct attacks.

The alert does not cite any specific threats. But it warns of potential danger from an increasingly complex and volatile mix that includes domestic terrorists inspired by various grievances, racial or ethnic hatred and influences from abroad.

Those threats were exacerbated by COVID-19, which spawned conspiracy theories and deepened anger at the government in some quarters over the shutdown of the economy. As virus conditions improve, the alert says new dangers loom.

SUNDAY MORNING CLASSICS ON TBP

A collaboration of: “The Classic Music Mafia”
nkit, Austrian Peter, and Steve C.

Every Sunday morning we present selections for our TBP family to enjoy.

We present symphonies, ensembles, quartets, octets, etc.

Not all of our music is strictly ‘classical’. We may stray a little, but we strive to make all of our selections ‘classy’.

We offer tips on proper ‘symphony etiquette’ and even some selections that are a bit light-hearted and fun aimed at a younger audience. Those pieces will be so designated, and might be a good way to introduce kids to a world of music that they might not have been exposed to or think of as old and ‘stuffy’.

A full symphony will run as long as it will. We don’t want to cut a symphony short. However, we also include some shorter pieces that we try to keep under fifteen minutes in length. You can sample each and hopefully find one or more that pleases you.

We hope that you enjoy our Sunday selections.

Qualified Immunity knocking on US Supreme Court’s back door!

Five years ago, a Vietnam Vet named Jose’ Oliva was assaulted by VA security officers at a hospital in El Paso. Video and witness testimony show clearly the guard assaulted him unprovoked.

Supposedly, this case will be heard in the Supreme Court very soon, if they can’t find a way out of “hearing” it.

[Maybe, they will decide Jose’ doesn’t have “standing” as a citizen?]

This article is worth a full reading for those interested in how the court system gets bogged down on legalities and forgets to use common sense.

Soaring Inflation Changes Your “Magic Number” for Retirement

Via Birch Gold

Retirement savers might be staring down the barrel of a rough decade (or two) ahead. That means your magic number, a goal like “saving $1 million for retirement,” could get a lot more challenging, if it’s possible at all.

What’s your magic number?

If you’ve done basic retirement planning, then you have a good idea exactly how much you need saved away in order to live the life you want too after retirement. For example, Fidelity recommends retirement funds of at least 10x your annual income.

The specifics don’t really matter right now. The important thing is, you know what your magic number is.

After Crossing the Border, Then What?

Guest Post by Joe Guzzardi

Customs and Border Protection isn’t returning or detaining illegal migrant crossers, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement isn’t removing aliens from the interior, including convicted, released criminals. One inevitable result: a huge U.S. population surge that will help create a chaotic society that will struggle to keep up with deteriorating conditions. From the sudden, unanticipated population growth, there will be maximum strain on K-12 education, health care, public safety and other social services which can barely provide for existing residents.

COVID Deaths Plummet As Excess Mortality Falls To Pre-Pandemic Levels

Authored by Ryan McMaken via The Mises Institute,

In any given year during the past decade in the United States, more than 2.5 million Americans have died – from all causes.

The number has grown in recent years, climbing from 2.59 million in 2013 to 2.85 million in 2019. This has been due partially to the US’s aging population, and also due to rising obesity levels and drug overdoses. In fact, since 2010, growth rates in total deaths has exceeded population growth in every year.

In 2020, preliminary numbers suggest a jump of more than 17 percent in all-cause total deaths, rising from 2.85 million in 2019 to 3.35 million in 2020.

Via History.com

In the scientific journal Nature on May 16, 1985, three scientists from the British Antarctic Survey announce their detection of abnormally low levels of ozone over the South Pole.
