Breaking: A flying egg narrowly missed the back of recall candidate @larryelder's head after it was thrown by an activist wearing a gorilla mask in Venice. A scuffle broke out and the candidate was escorted into an SUV.

SACRAMENTO, CA—Larry Elder’s campaign for governor of California was thrown into turmoil today after Gavin Newsom’s anti-recall campaign produced never-before-seen yearbook photos showing Larry Elder wearing blackface.
“This is beyond the pale,” said French Chef Pierre D’issoir, who is running Newsom’s campaign. “Not only is Larry Elder totally a white supremacist, but we now have proof that he wore blackface as a young man in college! Absolument honteux!”

The answer to the question posed by the title is “No,” at least not alone, and I suspect Larry Elder would agree. But the hack cliché is that every journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and dumping Governor Hairstyle in favor of someone who is not a complete buffoon is a necessary first step.
Word on the street is that Larry Elder is the most likely to win if Question 1 (“Should we dump this idiot Newsom?”) and move on to Question 2 (“Now that we’re rid of that twit, who do we want to foist this thankless job upon?”). Full Disclosure: I know Larry – we talk occasionally, and he was a radio host for Salem, where I often guest for its full-time hosts (I’m the Michael Collin to their Neil Armstrongs and Buzz Aldrins).

I’ve always been a Larry Elder fan. He’s a bright guy who has a talent for changing minds. Watch his first interview with Dave Rubin to see him perform his magic. So when I heard him pitching his new documentary “Uncle Tom” I was intrigued. I watched the trailer and saw Colonel West, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell and others of that ilk interviewed and I was hooked. I coughed up the 20 bucks and I’m glad I did.
To avoid poverty, one must do three things.
1) Finish high school.
2) Don't have a child before twenty.
3) Get married before having a child.
How does "institutional/systemic/structural racism" prevent blacks from following that formula?

Talk-show host, attorney, and best-selling author Larry Elder said the breakdown of the family — fatherless families — is the number one problem in America, not racism or discrimination or bad cops. He added that when it comes to murder, nearly half of the homicides each year are black-on-black killings.
Commenting on The Rubin Report, Larry Elder said there is a liberal agenda at work and “the goal is to tell black people that we’re victims, that discrimination, racism remain major problems in America when, in fact, they don’t. And they want black people to vote for the Democratic Party.”
