You realize, don’t you, that what’s going on in our country is the collapse not just of an empire, or an economy, but a comprehensive paradigm of human progress. The hallmark of post-war life in Western Civ was supposed to be a return to sanity after the mid-twentieth century fugue of mass psychotic violence. The wish for just and rational order was not entirely pretense. But that was then. Now that we are going medieval on ourselves, the not-so-ironic result will be our literally going medieval, sinking back into a pre-modern existence of darkness, superstition, and penury, grubbing for a mere subsistence in the shadow of scuffling hobgoblins, our achievements lost and forgotten.

As we know, communists always accuse their enemies of what they’re doing. As the lawfare against Donald Trump falls apart, they’ve begun ardently accusing Trump of being a dangerous dictator, of being a threat to “democracy,” because of his refusal to accept the 2020 election as legitimate. They care so much about “democracy” that they have to fall in line with a globalist elite instead of voters, persecute Trump to sway the 2024 election, encourage all manner of cheating and interference in the 2024 election to save “democracy.” That’s literally their reasoning for these lawfare attacks, buying votes with taxpayer money, opening the border to bring in the 10-12 million voters Biden thinks he’s going to need to win the election, even with all of their attempts to imprison the opposition candidate.

It is curious to me that people do not understand that historically, perpetrators of evil have always made an effort to convince people in general that what they are doing is not evil, and in fact is good for them.

There have been no exceptions to this rule throughout history—at least none that I am aware of. I am not saying that every leader throughout history was evil, but those that were, were typically conniving.

If the militia police pulls a man from the street for whatever reason the government wants him, his family is told he was breaking the law. If there is a peaceful protest of concerned citizens, who are beaten and arrested for protesting, the general public is told they were destroying property, or attempting to overthrow the government, and thus are a threat to everyone’s well being (think Truckers Convoy in Canada).
