There’s not much left for the Woke to target, but “speeders” will do. There is a lack of equity on the road, you see. Some drivers going faster than others.

And “getting away with it.”

Mayor Pete Buttigieg – now a federal “secretary,” the innocuous-sounding term given to people who function as national-level dictators within the area of their fief – wants to make sure they don’t by making sure they pay for it. All of them. All of the time. Or as close to that as possible. He wants to do that by erecting a national grid of automated speed enforcement cameras that would “self-enforce” speed limits and thus achieve the equity of velocity he seeks.

Every team needs a closer in their bullpen. The closer is that unique thrower who can come into game after game and get the final outs to secure the win. The Yankees had the greatest closer of all time. Mariano Rivera took his spot in the bullpen and waited for the phone to ring that he was needed on the mound. When it did, he usually got the job done. He was cool, efficient, and damn good at his job.

The Democrats are searching for someone to rescue this dumpster fire set by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Joe Biden will never be able to run for re-election. The way he is declining in the polls and with his mental acuity, he will be one and done if he can even make it through four years.

What America really wants to know is: after those months of “family leave,” did Pete Buttigieg get the hang of lactating? Hey, if sexuality is just a “social construct,” then the functions of sexuality must be teachable. So now Pete can move on to ovulation lessons and become the “birthing person” of his dreams. Pete’s dreams are America’s dreams, you see.

In the meantime, though, America has a little transportation problem that a Secretary of Transportation might look into if he wasn’t so busy performing a gender reeducation parable for the Woke family values crowd. Namely, that federal rules combined with California Air Resource Board regulations are destroying the trucking industry, a major link in the broken supply-chains for the gazillion products and parts that an advanced technological economy needs to keep on keeping on.

So saith the new Oberbefehlshaber der Transport – Pete Buttigieg. Whose bona fides to hold this office are purely political. Hiring him for this gig is like hiring Fauci to play lead guitar for Van Halen.
