A Reading From The BO-spel of Rahm
On the solemn occasion of glorious holiday of Most Equal Friday, I always take inspiration from my favorite BO-spel verses. While some comrades favor the story of how The Leader employed 5000 from the loaves and taxes of only 300 million, others enjoy the story of how The One spared Sandra The Hoyalene from the slut shaming of Rushbo, high priest of the Bag-hendrin by saying, “Let he who is without the taint of white male heteronormative privilege cast the first aspersion.”

The notorious race hustler showed up on friendly turf this week in a spot on the “Tom Joyner Show,” and right after laying down a disclaimer that he wasn’t comparing Obama to Christ, Sharpton did just that.
“The story of Jesus on the cross,” he said over the airwaves. “No matter what they humiliated him with. No matter how they mocked him he took it, because he knew he could rise. And the story of Easter and my message for this Easter session is no matter what unearned suffering you go through, that if you know you can rise above it, don’t become like the diseases that you fight.”
“As I looked at President Obama at our convention last Friday where all he took he’s been able to rise politically again,” he continued. “I’m not comparing him to Jesus, but I am saying that to every crucifixion there is a resurrection for those that believe.”

So what part of “All sides must refrain from any violence, intimidation or provocative actions,” did the US not understand when they decided that deploying troops to Poland was in keeping with the four-party deal? As WaPo reports, Poland and the United States will announce next week the deployment of U.S. ground forces to Poland as part of an expansion of NATO presence in Central and Eastern Europe in response to events in Ukraine. As a reminder, we noted in December, Russia’s placement of tactical nuclear-capable weapons near the Polish border which at the time sent a very clear message of escalation (despite the, at the time, lack of New Cold War headlines).
Isn’t this happy horseshit exciting?! Is the US run by schizophrenic morons? Did someone give Obama the old “hey asshole, start a war or else” tap on the shoulder?
I’m not a religious man, but I sort of believe in karma, and I have a feeling the cosmic retribution that’s coming for this country is gonna be a motherfucker. And if there are by chance any gods out there who are just, it’s likely they’re lining up for one hell of an unholy gang rape.
