Russia Threatens US with Nuclear War

Russian-Bobers

Russia has continually sent signals to these Western leaders that it can wage nuclear war. Russia keeps sending bombers into strategic places that can take out key cities in the USA and Europe. Even during the last NATO summit/Golf resort trip, two aircraft took off from an air base in western Russia, just east of the Russian city of Saratov. The aircraft, Tu-95 strategic bombers code-named Bear by NATO, flew northwest, skirting Iceland, Greenland, and Canada. They then turned on a heading straight toward the United States. This was what was called a “launch box” maneuver where just off the coast of the USA they would fire nuclear-tipped cruise missiles towards American cities and military bases.

These provocative flights were timed to a NATO summit that was attended by President Obama in Wales. I have warned from the outset that Ukraine should have been divided and the Russian ethic regions should be surrendered to Russia. I restated this position just last August. I recommended that position since the start of the year because this was the ONLY way to defuse the crisis that would get worse and has. Let the people return as part of Russia. In Ukraine, they have always looked down on the East as sort of the uneducated hicks anyway. Why endanger the entire world over such a stupid issue?

Key-West

Had the agreement been reached to simply split the nation, then there would not have been the killings and death toll we see now. Instead of paying for bailouts, simply afford the means to relocate people from the East who wanted to remain outside of Russia.  This conflict is stupid. The is like waging nuclear war because Key West, Florida calls itself the Conch Republic that wants to secede from the USA.

What difference does it make is the rural backward region of Ukraine prefers Russia since they speak Russian. Let the people decide their own fate. Haven’t political leaders caused more wars, pain, and bloodshed trying to carve up the world into territorial fiefdoms?

Don’t worry. If Russia attacks us, Estonia will come to our defense.

“Russia has continually sent signals to these Western leaders that it can wage nuclear war”
——— Armstrong

Give me a fuckin’ break, will ya?

As if the USA! USA! USA! hasn’t played the EXACT same game of “chicken”? BOTH countries have been playing the “Look at how close we can fly near your border” since the 1960s.

Personally, I’m more afraid of the country that … you know …. ACTUALLY and needlessly dropped a nuke on …. you know …. TWO civilian cities!

Armstrong should stick to economics.

Read it and weep, power abhors a vacuum.

Obama’s folly inspires Putin to fill power vacuum.

Apparently, BB, you’re not familiar with the “Wolfowitz doctrine” which is what U.S. foreign policy was during “W” and still is. Basically it’s “whack-a-mole”; strike down any country that would dare to rise above the U.S. in any way. Which is why we are currently involved in about 30 different wars/skirmishes. And we’ve started the fire against the Russians by overthrowing the elected government of the Ukraine and replacing it with a Nazi, and by expanding NATO and moving ABM’s on the Russian border, which is part of the “new” nuclear doctrine which includes “first-strike” and a “winnable nuclear war”.
The world is in a more dangerous place about now than in all history, and I’m old enough to remember the Cuban missile crisis, duck & cover, and “Conelrad alerts”.

Glenn Greenwald has revealed that Hillary Clinton is the presidential candidate of the banksters and warmongers.

Pam and Russ Martens note that Elizabeth Warren is the populist alternative. I doubt that a politician who represents the people can acquire the campaign funds needed to run a campaign. If Warren becomes a threat, the Establishment will frame her with bogus charges and move her aside.

Hillary as president would mean war with Russia. With neocon nazis such as Robert Kagan and Max Boot running her war policy and with Hillary’s comparison of Russia’s president Putin to Adolf Hitler, war would be a certainty. As Michel Chossudovsky and Noam Chomsky have written, the war would be nuclear.

If Hillary is elected president, the financial gangsters and profiteering war criminals would complete their takeover of the country. It would be forever or until armageddon.

The “War Start Journal” (WSJ) had an important editorial on Thursday, November 13th. All patriotic Americans who oppose Russian aggression should take heed.

THE PROBLEM:
“Russian forces are again on the march in Ukraine, and again the question before President Obama and Europe is HOW TO STOP THE NAPOLEON OF THE KREMLIN. Nothing they’ve tried has worked with Vladimir Putin , who has sized up Western leaders as too wobbly to resist.”

SOLUTIONS:
Expand SANCTIONS:
“Mr. Putin won’t respond to pleading but he might think twice if the costs of his revanchism become higher than the benefits. The vulnerable Russian economy gives the West an opening. U.S. and EU sanctions and falling oil prices have hurt, while the ruble keeps falling as capital flight continues. The West can and should expand sanctions, though the U.S. will have to lead a fearful Europe.”

MILITARY Aid to Kiev:
“Mr. Obama should also reverse his ban on supplying military aid to Kiev. He considers it “a casus belli for Putin,” says one Administration official, as if the Russian leader hadn’t declared war half a year ago. If Mr. Obama won’t act, then Congress should. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee recently voted 18-0 to arm the Ukrainians, and Congress should pass this legislation in the lame-duck session. An embattled democracy needs help to defend itself from Russian attack.”

STOP PUTIN in the UKRAINE:
“Above all, the West has to shed its illusions that Mr. Putin can be tamed to follow Western rules of order.
He wants to dominate Eastern Europe and reclaim Russia’s status as a great power.
If Mr. Putin isn’t stopped in Ukraine, then Moldova, the Baltic states, Poland and Kazakhstan may be next. The West needs to awaken from its Obama-era dreams.”

So what should America do? Should we accept defeat, send U.S. advisers or troops into Ukraine, blockade Crimea, or launch strikes on Russian forces?

The WSJ knows how we should begin – arm the Ukrainians. After that we’ll need to keep the pressure on until Putin backs down. The fate of democracy and America’s honor are at stake.
