Question of the Day, Wikileaks version.

Today we examine an email to John Podesta. Credited source here – https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/3599. Here is the section I wish to discuss. What exactly does he mean by this?

And as I’ve mentioned, we’ve all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry. The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly. This problem demands some serious, serious thinking – and not just poll driven, demographically-inspired messaging.

Full email below. The Rubio part is interesting too.

Dear John:

Well, we all thought the big problem for our US democracy was Citizens United/Koch Brothers big money in politics. Silly us; turns out that money
isn’t all that important if you can conflate entertainment with the electoral process. Trump masters TV, TV so-called news picks up and repeats and repeats to death this opinionated blowhard and his hairbrained ideas, free-floating discontent attaches to a seeming strongman and we’re off and running. JFK, Jr would be delighted by all this as his “George” magazine saw celebrity politics coming. The magazine struggled as it was ahead of its time but now looks prescient. George, of course, played the development pretty lightly, basically for charm and gossip, like People, but what we are dealing with now is dead serious. How does this get handled in the general? Secretary Clinton is not an entertainer, and not a celebrity in the Trump, Kardashian mold; what can she do to offset this? I’m certain the poll-directed insiders are sure things will default to policy as soon as the conventions are over, but I think not.

Rubio’s press conference yesterday AM was good and should be repeated in its entirety, not just in nibbles. I will attend the Clinton fundraiser here next week but as I can only afford the low level of participation may just get to wave without a “hello.”

I fear we are all now trying to navigate a set of forces that cannot be simply explained or fully understood, so it is and will reamin interesting!

Sent with a handshake,

Bill

Sounds to me like he is lamenting the old adage about being able to lead a jackass to water, but not being able to make him drink.

There is a deep irony in that Rubio’s press conference on March 12 was all about “violence at Trump rallies”. Especially now that we know a great deal more about the source of that violence.

As for the quoted section, I think its pretty obvious what it means. These are control freaks. And they are comfortable in their belief that the population is compliant and can always be made to be compliant. It shouldnt be too surprising, since their jobs depend on it. Where would Bill Ivey be without billions being tossed around presidential campaigns? He knows that people like Trump dont need him, he’d be out of a job.

When he says “…we’ve all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry.” he is admitting to conspiracy, is he not?

That would take it from theory to fact.

Imagine my surprise.

When you intentionally set out to make people ignorant and indolent by design, you wind up with a lazy and stupid population. Lazy doesn’t go to the polls and stupid doesn’t remember who they were supposed to pick.

Funny how that worked out.

Note that this bastard absolutely understands that “unaware” and “compliant” go together, and really WANTS that. He wants to be able to pull levers and tug strings and get people en mass to behave as he wants them to. He IS a control freak, and he is aware that if the marks wise up, his game will go to zero participation.
MALIGNANT EVIL FUCKS TRYING TO RUN THE WORLD. Everyone who votes for Clinton is voting to be “unaware and compliant”; Wikileaks and O’Keefe have done HUMANITY a service by MAKING THEM AWARE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN, OF THE DEPTH of Clinton depravity, corruption and deceit. WWIII is more than likely if the HildaBeast wins, so vote accordingly.
