My Christmas gift this year from Avalon was tickets to see Three Doors Down doing an acoustic show at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City. The concert date has arrived and we’re headed down to check out the Wildwood condo and make sure it is still intact after this brutal winter. I don’t think we’ll be riding bikes or going to the beach, but we might check out a pub or two. I’m looking forward to the show. I love these songs.
The last song video “(Love Me) When I’m Gone” reminds me of a story my stepmother told me a long time ago. Helen had to take her son to the airport (by herself) and say good-bye just before he left for Vietnam (late 60’s). It almost broke her heart when he walked away.
He returned home a year later, alive and well.
