I love Tom Clancy, a real American.
Other things the government is good at:
Putting people in prison
Controlling the media
Going into catastrophic debt
Handing out free shit for votes
Devaluing the currency
Regulating businesses to death
Creating union government drones
Creating democrat controlled black slave plantations (ghettos, see Detroit)
Indebting students
Giving hundreds of billions to Wall Street to cover their gambling losses
Propping up insolvent TBTF banks and banksters
Taking bribes to create loopholes and special interest goodies
Spying on everyone all the time
Pissing away $1 trillion a year they don’t have
Enforcing quotas, affirmative action, and political correctness mind control
Giving incompetent people jobs making almost 100% more than someone in the private sector

nope, not actually anyone on TBP, i was in a heated email exchange with 2 of my best friends and one of their friends for teh last few days and had finished writing a reply to the douchenozzle friend secs before I checked in to TBP. that liberal govt loving douchecanoe was teh one on my mind.
i am probably going to try and get everyone’s permission and publish teh whole email string, it is pretty good stuff. this guy is so dense that he makes bb seem like a member of MENSA.
if tehy are all ok with this i will post it and i am sure some of you will get a kick out of it.
and i won’t argue teh fact that having zero govt is impossible, the people who want to control others and those who want to controlled are the vast majority (combined I would guess in teh 90%). i look at it as similar to trying to create 100% efficiency and removing entropy. but because something is likely impossible does not preclude it from also being immoral.
it is my opinion that each person being truly sovereign is the ideal. i think the founders tried as best they could to create the closest thing to personally sovereignty that they could but almost everyday since it was created it has degenerated a little bit, one of the most egregious being during the civil war which essentially switched the Union form being voluntary to compulsory.

Government is not inherently evil, it is those within, and their ideology which are evil…just as the money isn’t evil, the love of it is…
In considering the above statement, it is hard to believe that either democrats (who depend on increasing spending to continue to be re-elected) or republicans (who depend on rich people that want to not only keep all of what they have, but want all that anyone else has “serving the shareholders”) are not in love with money, and are therefore evil.
And AWD…Nixon took a fall for it, but government surveillance of the people go way way back…mcarthy was a republican who, although his actions eventually ruined his career, nothing happened to…
