Amazing footage, presented by the Russia Today network. WW2 was the best-photographed war to date, archives studied by generations of military ever since. To see how the Obamination observed D-Day, go to http://fellowshipoftheminds.com/2014/06/06/after-ignoring-it-for-5-years-obama-suddenly-remembered-d-day/

Seems the Russian people have more respect for the Americans who sacerficed inWW 2 than the current crop of Mericans. Perhaps that is why the rest of the world is turning from the dollar. Along with 17,500,000,000,000.00 and counting in debt. The end is near.

Ah, but 3 comments thus far.

The sun has set on the 70th anniversary of D-Day. So few left, so much heartache faded, so many young men moldering in their graves.

Day is done.

The local Denny’s has a copy of the GI kissing T4C’s mom, they took the statue of that scene down at the NYNY. Must have offended the gays. I hope they don’t replace it with a guy dipping another dude.

70 years is ancient history.

My mother in law is making her annual trip to Salvador. I had to drive her over to her son’s house in
Sunland. My nephew in law said he graduated and would be going to middle school next year. Advanced placement or some special advanced program. How old are you, I asked. 11, he said. Could you show me a book you read, I want to write a short story for kids. He came back with a freshman level book on Pearl Harbor. I asked if he read that, he said yes. I told him about the D-Day special on the history channel.

I asked for a book more to his age level. I checked out the stories and read bit about Anne Frank. He asked if I know who she was. I said yes but I never read her diary I always meant to..

Keep watching. Maybe you’ll catch some footage of my uncle, who was a member of the 101st Airborne and jumped into Normandy.
