My parents were lucky, I got kicked out of High School.
congrats, tho 🙂
Well, whatever you do….don’t yell his name out loud or cheer unless you want to experience a long “Shawshank” night!
1100 graduates??? Damn, my graduating class was 75 or 76 and held in a magnificent Spanish church. My favorite teacher had a pickup bed filled with ice and champagne waiting for us in the parking lot when it was over. He’d probably be fired today!
I didn’t attend my high school graduation because I was working. Instead I had the school mail my diploma.
Congrats, Admin, on launching another one. Is he college-bound also?
Admin
Ignore the advice from I_S.
When your son steps up to the podium you should yell at the top of your lungs — “WE’RE DOOMED!!!!!”.
This will set the right tone. People need more reality in their lives. Don’t forget to wear your TBP tee-shirt.
Congratulations! Brings back memories of my youngest graduation. It was a scorching 96 degrees in May in Minnesota!
1100 grads huh? That’s 110 times bigger than my graduating class!
Congrats Admin,
Just like an accountant you spread them out so as to have only 1 in college at a time, although it does spread out the pain. I guess it’s all in the cash flow. I had two in college last year, fortunately it was only for the 1 year and they both went to the same college. I can only hope that they are as cynical and questioning of authority as their dad.
Thank you and good luck,
Bob.
Going to cheer on your grad? Call 1-800-BAIL-BONDS that night!
j/k
Admin- The lever household became a peaceful sanctuary where life is beautiful all of the time after the chiluns left the nest. That day will come for you unless they all move back in……..Oh Hell!!
Congrats to you and the grad.
Will forward a coupon for University of Phoenix. Suppose to be fielding a great fantasy football team this fall. Ask about pledging a fraternity on-line,
Congrats
I saw this on Buzzfeed the other day. Something that makes me feel old. Kids graduating high school were born the same year this was released:
I quit school at 16. I tear up at graduations. Fortunately, my daughter has had 2.
“We’re doomed!” Love it. We had that 92 degrees two days ago before it made its way east to you. If it’s any consolation, I just spent 90 minutes at a soccer game on a big open field, and just about got frostbite on my scrotum. So you probably have cool weather headed your way.
Good news. There were really only 981 graduates whose names needed to be announced. Some clouds drifted in front of the blazing hot sun and made it feel like a comfortable 88 degrees.
I really loved the drone hovering over the festivities the whole time. It made me feel safe.
As I listened to the hopeful optimistic speeches from the top students, I was kind of glad they don’t visit sites like TBP. They might give up before trying. They are our last best hope.
Jimmy is headed off to Penn State in August.
But first he goes to Senior Week in Ocean City MD.
Late in the video you can see the drone flying in the upper left.

You’re gonna catch shit for that one
