FAT ACCEPTANCE

Half of America is obese, so I think fat acceptance isn’t required. How about self control acceptance? It looks like she has had too much Ben & Jerry’s, Twinkie, and Cheetos acceptance in her life.

Virtually everyone can control their weight (calories in vs calories out). Those who don’t should expect to be judged accordingly (as undisciplined).

You haven’t seen a true mental fatrobatic if you think that’s bad. If you want to see a true hindenberg of crazy obesity try reading caleb luna.

ISKA….so true…it is virtually impossible to decrease you caloric intake and increase dramatically your activity and not loss weight. Morbidly Obese people are nothing but slugs.

1) You shouldn’t care what people think, other than loved ones, that is.

2) “Fat Acceptance” (whatever that may be) will not likely change anyone’s mind about how they feel.

3) Revulsion and hate are different things.

4) If you like being obese, you’re gonna love diabetes and heart disease.

I grew up always being called “big-boned” “husky” and “fat”. I’ve shown my picture here, I’ve looked like that since I was about 6, albeit in a shorter form. There is literally no comparison between myself and the children of today.

These landwhales have gone beyond “fat” and have actually developed their own gravitational pull.

I’m 66. The only place you saw fat-asses like this was the carnival. Same for tats, and those tunnel (gauge?) ear lobes.

On the up side you can see this stuff for free!

On the down side you have to see it most every day.

@HSF says .“Fat Acceptance” (whatever that may be) will not likely change anyone’s mind about how they feel.’

-exactly. One concept our culture cannot ever seem to grasp is that real self-esteem comes from within, is not given and cannot be taken away. Our bullshit everyone gets a trophy, post your life on Facebook and thereby give it importance society understands nothing of genuine self worth.

I’m almost baldheaded ,almost fat and thinking about becoming a woman . Just think of all the affirmative action I’m be qualified for.
Bald =old age
Fat =disabled
Woman=mentally confused.

Hell I’ll be making a six figures in no time.

I note that the woman suspected of helping those two NY prison escapees is a porker. Surprise, surprise. Self-esteem so low that she gets sweet-talked by a couple of life-sentenced murderers. [imgcomment image[/img]

Heard a radio add this morning on the way into work about a new store called Destination XL or DXL that caters exclusively to the obese people, stocking only sizes XL through 10XL. At first I think to myself WTF? Then further down the road I think this is actually pretty smart, somebody looked around and said “you know what, just about every swinging dick I see in public is fat, I should come up with a business plan where I sell designer clothes to fat people and make money off these slobs.” Only in America.

An Obese couple once commented to me “people think losing weight is easy, well it’s not. Losing weight is hard.”

I didn’t respond but my thought was, well there you go, there’s your problem, you want to only do what’s easy. Well life isn’t about only doing what’s easy. Life is about doing what needs to be done whether it’s easy or hard.

My approach to life is to first determine what I want to accomplish. Easy or hard is so unimportant it has very little influence on my decision making. For me a goal that is difficult to achieve but worth the effort is the type of think I’m attracted to.

So if a person only wants to do what’s easy than yeah you need to learn to love your obesity.

And as HSF commented you better learn to love your diabetes and heart disease also.

While it is easy to go after delusional- fatties not everything is so black and white. I don’t condone the fat acceptance movement and I do understand why these people feel this way.

Losing weight is not hard once you have a better understanding of nutrition and anatomy. Losing weight is trial and error. There are some people in the fat acceptance movement that were fed up with the yo-yo dieting.

I don’t blame somebody who ends up with diet fatigue after years of weight watchers, jenny craig, curves, low-fat, no-fat, blah, blah, blah. I fully support these people saying enough is enough and refusing to give their money or their efforts to the diet industry. I also support them not giving their money towards clothing companies who don’t market to them.

Where they lose me is glorifying obese with “models” like Tess Holliday and bloggers who make a profit from fat acceptance. There are plenty of these bloggers making money while putting out more disinformation about health, just like the diet industry.

The key to losing weight is reducing carb intake. Replace the carbs with protein and you’ll lose weight. It’s actually pretty easy to lose 10-20 lbs, the hard part is staying on track; those carbs are VERY seductive.
That being said, IMO “fat acceptance” is the same as “LGBT acceptance”, “Skinhead acceptance”, or as in BB’s case “Religious zealot acceptance”. Personally, I don’t give a crap what other people do, just don’t put it in my face or try to stick it down my throat. That’s what I object to and it’s happening daily with assist from the MSM.

1. The woman above would be considered mid sized where me n Billy hang. She’s got 25 pounds uh cottage cheese blubbering around her belly button – I got at least 75. Totally different ballpark (and smell)

2. Stephanie has no gall bladder, which basically negates anything she gots ter say about fatties.

I remember as a kid having an Uncle Ray who seemed fat to us. This was in the 70’s. Ray was fat for the time. Kids being callous kids we would snicker behind his back at family gatherings. I mean, my god he must have been 20 pounds overweight!! We could barely conceive of such a dirigible as Uncle Ray. Today he’d be nothing.

“You watching that is like me watching D.W. Griffith films.”

That’s kinda confusing as I’m not sure you mean it is likely or it isn’t likely to watch his films. Odd, considering he directed ‘The Birth of A Nation”. But I watched I Love Lucy as a kid because it was on Nick at Nite.

I have to sit at a desk for my job nearly 10 hours a day, and I still make time to get outdoors and run, lift, hike, walk or swim daily. Yes, daily. I also eat properly and I don’t patronize the expensive fast food shops. All it takes is a little discipline, but you CAN function just fine off of fruits, veggies and lean protein. Fuck fat people. I hate the fact that people have no self control. They feed more often than newborn babies…always snacking and shit. No, it’s not beautiful. You all look like some fucked up sub evolution of H. Sapiens and you’re almost to your final morph of sprouting flippers where your arms are and seeking the ocean to form pods. Disgusting wastes of space and I’m sick of fats and their sympathizers trying to tell me that putrid, hyper adipose flesh is beautiful.
