A new study just released from Public Health England concludes that 4 out of 5 Brits between the ages of 40 – 60 are fat, lazy and/or alcoholics, characteristics which the study shockingly found to be having an adverse effect on the group’s long-term health.

The study, which compared data collected from 40 – 60 year olds between 2011 – 2013 to similar data collected 20 years prior found that Brits, both men and women, were almost universally less healthy on nearly every metric tested…a fact that researchers attributed to the sedentary nature of our modern lifestyles.

YAY or NAY

Enough of trivial matters like global debt, Supreme Court justices, stock market crashes, and presidential politics. The really important matter of the day is whether a size 16, 170 pound woman should grace the cover of Sports Illustrated in a bikini. As a young boy I subscribed to Sports Illustrated and waited breathlessly for the swim suit issue to arrive. The picture of Cheryl Tiegs wearing a see through white bathing suit is still burned in my memory. I saved what I considered famous editions of SI, and that edition made the cut. For some reason the pages stick together. I think the box is somewhere in my basement storage area.

I personally think Ashley Graham is hot. I’m a big fan of 38Ds. I wish AWD was around to comment. He loved Kate Upton, and she is certainly a full figured gal.

So, my question of the day is: Is Ashley Graham too fat to be on the swimsuit cover of Sports Illustrated?

Chris Christie tells his state’s National Guard chief to get in shape

Chris Christie, the most famous plus-sized politician in America, is taking a dim view of obesity among one of his subordinates.

The Associated Press is reporting that Christie, the New Jersey governor and Republican presidential aspirant, wants Air Force Brig. Gen. Michael Cunniff, the leader of New Jersey’s national guard, to get in better shape.

It seems that Cunniff has been ducking mandatory Pentagon physical-fitness tests.

Christie says Cunniff’s failure to meet Pentagon fitness standards is unacceptable and disappointing, a spokesman said.

In a statement, Cunniff said he was taking steps to remedy the issue.

Christie opted to have surgery, specifically, the gastric band, to control his own weight.
