He’ll be an amusing diversion and occasionally presidential but he will be characterized afterwards as a pompous asshole because thats the narrative.
I will probably watch a few re runs of Raw Hide and wagon train on the tv via roku, as for Donald Trump he will appear as all of the above, but it does not matter because the people who are going to vote for him will not be watching the Debate, they will be watching reality tv.
Trump is driving the media crazy because they can not put him down like a dog the way they did to so many GOP candidates last time in their quest to choose the GOP candidate by default.
The reason Trump will win is that Trump is the first well known, well financed, reality TV star candidate, and the folks who support him are reality tv nation, and reality tv naion does not get its news from the media, they do not even care enough about news to watch the daily show. No reality TV nation watches reality TV, and nothing else, to them all life is realitty TV, they will watch Trump but none of the rest, so they won’t bother with the debate, unless it is clips of Trump, and come the election they will vote for Trump, just like they vote in American Idol, or America’s got Talent, to be a part of the show.

I will watch the debate and hate myself for it. I won’t vote for a single person on that stage now that rand has become a turn coat that his father must be ashamed of, and I will feel dumber for having watched it, and my wife will probably say “if you can’t stand them and watching this makes you mad, why are you watching it” or some variation of that at least 5 times.

Anyone who was perfectly OK with all the criminality and stupidity under the bush administration and only recently decided it was bad when obama starting doin it is not worth reading or listening to. I will be watching my wife’s high temperature readings because the new chemo infusions are wreaking havoc on her mental and physical being right now. Plus, (and I did not know this was possible) her Oncologist has started injections that will make her go thru menopause early to help with her treatments. I really don’t give a flying fuck about those shit throwing monkeys up on stage. But hey, my boss gave me a seventy five cent raise yesterday, that’s a whole buck fifty in raises so far after 3 years. I feel so bad for the congress ass sniffers that get the entire month of August off paid for by stealing our money. Life is grand for the tax thieves. Maybe with my newly acquired 75 cent raise in wealth I can catch the NJ transit main line halfway to the Blarney Stone.

When I read your post, everything else on the thread seemed suddenly irrelevant. There is nothing like a serious threat to someone you love, to remind you of what matters in life.
Here is hoping she recovers to health and vigor. You two will be in my thoughts.
