An African-American woman’s rant about the hypocrisy which plagues the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement has gone viral.
Peggy Hubbard, who lives just across the river from St. Louis in Belleville, Illinois, slams BLM for tearing up communities in response to a thug being shot dead by police while ignoring the issue of black on black violence that led to the death of a 9-year-old girl in Ferguson.
Hubbard began by talking about the aftermath of the police shooting of 18-year-old Mansur Ball-Bey, who reportedly pointed a handgun at officers while he was fleeing a crack house in north St. Louis on Wednesday.
Locals and ‘Black Lives Matter’ activists responded by torching buildings and cars. The unrest continued for a second night, with protesters chanting “we’re ready for war” as they blocked traffic, bashed out car lights, and reportedly jumped one young couple, with a man being severely beaten.
“They went to execute a warrant for an arrest for a very very bad guy, when they came to get him, instead of going peacefully, having his day in court, he decides to pull out another stolen gun, shoot at the police, police shot back, and he was killed,” explains Hubbard.
Hubbard then references the case of a 9-year-old girl who was killed in Ferguson during a drive-by shooting, news of which emerged at around the same time.
“Last night, who do you think they protested for?” asks Hubbard. “The thug, the criminal, because they’re hollering police brutality, are you fucking kidding me? Police brutality? How about black brutality?”
“You black people, my black people, you are the fucking most violent motherfuckers I have ever seen in my life!” she continues.
Hubbard went on to castigate protesters for “tearing up the neighborhood I grew up in” for a criminal while ignoring the innocent 9-year-old girl.
“There is police brutality out there. I’ll give you that. But, night after night after night, on Channel 4, Channel 2, Channel 5, Channel 30, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, murder, murder, murder, black on black murder. But yet you assholes are out there tearing up your own shit. It’s not your shit. It’s other people’s shit. For a criminal. For a thug,” Hubbard ranted.
She goes on to explain how her own children are in prison and that she refuses to visit them because they need to learn their lesson and do their time.
“Black people – you’re a fucking joke, you’re tearing up communities over thugs and criminals,” asserts Hubbard.
The rant quickly went viral and has received over 45,000 shares on Facebook.
Although the response to news of 9-year-old Jamyla Bolden’s death was initially muted, some protesters did subsequently hold a candlelight march in her honor. However, the march ended at the point where Michael Brown died. Like Ball-Bey, Brown attacked a cop before he was shot dead.
Hubbard’s central point about black on black violence is routinely ignored by the Black Lives Matter movement. Figures show that 93% of blacks are killed by other blacks.

You can bet that this woman is derided as an “oreo cookie” or “Auntie Tom” among a large minority of black people. I wouldn’t show my face in most of St Louis if I were her.
I feel her pain. How frustrating and disheartening it must have been for her to try to raise her boys to be decent human beings in poor black neighborhoods, when the male role models surrounding them were either in prison, on their way to prison, or just out of prison, where almost every woman is on welfare and pumping out a baby every year by a different daddy, and where decency, obedience to laws and social norms, discipline, and industry is mocked and people pride themselves on how they can steal from or swindle “the man” and beat the system. It takes a VERY forceful mother to prevail against the surrounding squalor, and you often won’t succeed, but will helplessly watch as the kids you tried so hard to set right, get sucked into the gangs and crime.

KaD, you are correct- a father present certainly helps, but you can’t always arrange that. Dads sometimes, die, or leave.
My mother raised two productive, independent, smart girls with no father present, while this black woman in the video, Peggy Hubbard, and her husband, both of whom are police officers who did all the things for their children that good parents do- ate together every night, took them to church and outings, saw to it that they went to school and studied, and presented to them examples of people who work for what they get and help build their community- yet one of their boys took a bad path and is in prison. This circumstance no doubt fuel’s Hubbard’s rage at a degraded and enabling black “culture” that glorifies violence, dishonesty, and idleness.
If Black lives matter, why don’t they stop killing each other?
I used to care .I used to feel sorrow even sympathy for blacks .Now even blacks like this woman excite a rage in my heart. Maybe it’s because I know blacks like her will still vote for and defend the Obama’s of the democrat party. She will vote for every Damn social program socialist can dream up.To her white people are still evil and probably the cause of black crime at least in her little mind.She will still look for government to solve the problems government has created .Maybe I just got a bad case of black fatigue.Maybe I should stop going to the websites that keep a daily account of the number of whites assaulted , raped and murdered everyday by blacks.

bb, I suggest you go take a look at Hubbard’s FB page, and read a series of her posts. She certainly does not hate white people, makes a point of stating that white people are not to blame and that it’s wrong to hate and blame another group of people for your own failures.
Reading her, I like her, despite her scabrous language. I notice that honest people curse a lot more often. This woman doesn’t sugar-coat anything when addressing miscreant blacks.
I gave up on all of them a while ago. One or two or a dozen of them speak out like this woman, but none of them do a real, tangible thing. I viewed a lot of videos made by blacks talking about the black violence problem or the single bitch problem and blah, blah, blah. We’re way past the talking stage, and no amount of voting is going to change this behavior either.

I think she did that, Pirate Jo, being as she lives in Belleville, an old German farm town that morphed into a St Louis suburb by WW2. My family lived there for a couple of years, and it was a very clean, orderly place with fine public amenities and, in my time, was lily-white, and very insular. However, it borders E. St. Louis, and the cheaper neighborhoods in the western part of town are much too close to the border, while the eastern parts of town are far too expensive for a couple of cops. This is by and large a fairly upper middle class town, with a lot of upper bracket homes. The tennis star Jimmy Connors had a spectacular modernist house on the same street as the grade school I attended.
The biggest “injury of class” inflicted on our lower middle class – most of our population, after all- is that they have to live in close proximity to people who you really don’t want around your kids. You may live in Belleville, but you’re on the wrong side of town because you are not wealthy, and your boy, the one who was a wild hair almost from his day of birth, is hanging out with gangbangers from E St Louis and Fairview Heights. Calument Park outside of Chicago is a lovely black suburb of small, well-kept homes, friendly people, and safe streets, but it’s not too far from neighborhoods just east of it where there is a shooting every weekend. Most of your kids will be impervious to the bad influences, but there is a certain percentage who by innate temperement are very vulnerable to the call of the wildest, most out of control crowd. When you have a kid like this, you hope that the worst influences don’t do any worse than smoke cigs in back of the 7/11 and drag race their cars. But if you are living close to areas with a lot of gangs and crime, your trouble-prone kid has an array of really, really bad influences to choose from.

Chicago, a friend of mine worked with a lady who experienced this problem. She was a nice lady, and she and her husband were both hardworking, decent people who did their best to raise their kids to be the same way. Their son gave them nothing but trouble because he fell in with the wrong crowd.
The closest I’ve been to St. Louis in a LONG time was biking the Katy Trail in Missouri. Thanks for the Cliff Notes on the neighborhoods there. The population in bad parts of the inner cities does tend to just grow and grow, and aside from prison there’s no place for that population to go but outward.
Shame about St Louis, Pirate Jo. It is still a very pretty city, and its central corridor looks clean and glossy, with many beautiful buildings and tree-lined streets. One thing I’ll give that city- it has avoided being sucked into the debt trap as so many wealthier, larger cities have. St Louis has no bonded debt, which means it is a candidate for revival as blighted neighborhoods are abandoned and their populations move elsewhere. As it is, the city is now so hollowed-out and depopulated that the vast tracts of empty land where things have been demolished, include almost as much land as the populated parts of the city.
But right now, you wouldn’t move there any sooner than you’d move to Detroit. Then north side has been blighted for 60 years, and the south side, while still very clean and white in our family’s time there in the 60s, was in disinvestment mode by that time- nothing new was being built and everyone was moving to “the county” even though the south side was still pristine. It’s only a matter of time, everyone said. The silk-stocking west end was becoming semi-blighted and extremely dangerous. Nowadays, the south side has become just like the north, and only in the central areas is there any impetus to develop, and that is really a very small part of the city. Worse, the city has been encumbered for many decades with some of the most punitive taxes on business and industry you can imagine, to the point where Chicago looks like a tax haven compared. A 4% merchants & manufacturer’s tax, if you can imagine, plus the endemic mob corruption that had overtaken the city by the end of WW2 and was the true root of its downward spiral. These people stole everything they could get their hands on in the 50s and 60s as the city was led by mob-owned politicians then. When they got done with their looting by the mid-70s, there was almost nothing left in the way of industry and business. Well, they’re gone with their loot now, but they’ve been replaced by gaggles of “diversity” opportunists of the lowest sort.
