I have a Dream – society taking retribution on 95% of politicians and gov’t dept heads, past and present, that have destroyed this country.

Kokoda, I pray your dream comes true before all the welfare/warfare waste crashes the dollar and that is the reason the masses finally take to the streets to measure out Just Desserts to the Elite.

Speak Spanish? What a load of shit. Spanish is the language of poverty – Mexico, Latin America, Puerto Rico – all the same.

One of the few things Ob had right: your children SHOULD learn to speak Spanish! Spanish is very useful in the Western Hemisphere and in any case, the more languages one can learn, the better.

Everybody should speak a foreign language, but not necessarily Spanish. I speak it fluently and plan to learn Portuguese. You would, too, if you had ever been to Rio……..

SS Portugués: castellano sin huesos. But yeah, Brazil has its charms.

Dutchman – I used to speak Spanish pretty fluently, and I once lived in Puerto Rico.

And I can categorically say this: Whatever language those Ricans speak, it sure as hell is not Spanish. A bigger shit hole on earth there is not than Puerto Rico, and a lazier, more drunken male population you will not find on the face of the earth.

So, all that said, I think everyone should get ready for PR to be the next state. They will fit right in to Obongo’s plans.

Spanish is a European language, nobody is asking you to learn Nahuatl or Quechua, Shoshone or Choctaw. The reason many folks around the world speak Spanish is they were once subjects of the Spanish crown. Spain and Portugal divied up the world so that below a certain latitude, Portugal got Brazil, Macao, Angola..

Somebody noted that Spanish speakers sound more educated than some English speakers. This is because there are more words in English due to borrowing and neo-logisms and more levels of English than there are of Spanish. Spanish speakers call germs, ‘microbios’ or microbes.

Ghetto Mexicans use a ‘calo’ or slang that is on par with BW’s hillbilly vernacular. Many of the Mexican slang expressions have a connection to black-speak; cocono, for example, is slang for turkey and means the same thing that turkey means in black-talk.

Latin American Spanish is also a bit more antiquated and mixed with Native American terminology, rather than create a new word, the Spaniards adopted terms for avocado, tomato, etc. European Spanish is just as perplexing to Latin Americans as British English is to Americans.

Somebody said speaking a second language is an advantage that bilingual Hispanics enjoy because it exercises the mental faculties as much as early childhood education helps a kid develop his brain.

I was trying to say to much in that last sentence but I won’t go back to fix it.

I will finish with this thought, language is not destiny, if it was, we should all take up speaking German.
