the reason for the long lines, is to discourage regular folks from flying.
we peons on the ground have all sorts of pollution controls on our automobiles.
but jets, just dump tons of emissions, at the most fragile part of our atmosphere, and is the #1 reason for the increase in “green house gasses”
so, how do you discourage peons from flying?

The purpose of the long lines is to “Force” registration of TSA PreCheck. Instant ability to track travel up to and including refusing you right to travel
