I haven’t always liked Whittle because for the longest while he’s been a standard-issue GOP “conservative” (translation: neocon). I think he’s coming around to a more logical – paleocon- worldview. If you think Obama’s error in Syria was not bombing Assad with cruise missiles after Assad had crossed Obama’s red line (used gas), then you’re still trapped in the neocon matrix. If you think we waged an illegal war against Gaddafi, should have left Assad alone and that any gas attack in Syria was probably a Sunni (or a US) false flag, then you’re starting to get it. Old Whittle probably would have defended TPP as “free trade”. Hopefully he now understands TPP to be the same kind of snare that the EU is to Britain. I don’t knew whether Whittle is finally embracing nationalism out of a true conversion of heart or because his own audience has rebuked him. Either way, people need to understand that the neocons ARE the globalists.
