So….communism is inflicted upon people, but socialism is self-inflicted? I never really got the whole Ayn-Rand-as-brilliant-thinker thing. She always struck me as a self-impressed dink.

Her analysis is consistently remarkable. Her application of her conclusions to society is as flawed as any practical political theory must be.
Get over the flaws and recognize how brilliantly she predicted the path of our society.
