After the Coup, What Then?

Guest Post by Patrick J. Buchanan

That the Trump presidency is bedeviled is undeniable.

As President Donald Trump flew off for August at his Jersey club, there came word that Special Counsel Robert Mueller III had impaneled a grand jury and subpoenas were going out to Trump family and campaign associates.

The jurors will be drawn from a pool of citizens in a city Hillary Clinton swept with 91 percent of the vote. Trump got 4 percent.

Whatever indictments Mueller wants, Mueller gets.

Thanks to a media that savages him ceaselessly, Trump is down to 33 percent approval in a Quinnipiac University poll and below 40 percent in most of the rest.

Before Trump departed D.C., The Washington Post ran transcripts of his phone conversations with the leaders of Mexico and Australia.

Even Obama administration veterans were stunned.

So, it is time to ask: If this city brings Trump down, will the rest of America rejoice?

What will be the reaction out there in fly-over country, that land where the “deplorables” dwell who produce the soldiers to fight our wars? Will they toast the “free press” that brought down the president they elected, and in whom they had placed so much hope?

My guess: The reaction will be one of bitterness, cynicism, despair, a sense that the fix is in, that no matter what we do, they will not let us win. If Trump is brought down, American democracy will take a pasting. It will be seen as a fraud. And the backlash will poison our politics to where only an attack from abroad, like 9/11, will reunite us.

Our media preen and posture as the defenders of democracy, devoted to truth, who provide us round-the-clock protection from tyranny. But half the nation already sees the media as a propaganda arm of a liberal establishment that the people have rejected time and again.

Consider the Post’s publication of the transcripts of Trump’s calls with Mexico’s president and Australia’s prime minister.

When reporter Greg Miller got these transcripts, his editors, knowing they would damage Trump, plastered them on Page 1.

The Post was letting itself be used by a leaker engaged in disloyal and possibly criminal misconduct. Yet the Post agreed to provide confidentiality and to hide the Trump-hater’s identity.

This is what we do, says the Post. People have a right to know if President Trump says one thing at rallies about Mexico paying for the wall and another to the president of Mexico. This is a story.

But there is a far larger story here, of which this Post piece is but an exhibit. It is the story of a concerted campaign, in which the anti-Trump media publish leaks, even criminal leaks, out of the FBI, CIA, NSA and NSC, to bring down a president whom the Beltway media and their deep-state collaborators both despise and wish to destroy.

Did Trump collude with Putin to defeat Clinton, the Beltway media demand to know, even as they daily collude with deep-state criminals to bring down the president of the United States.

And if there is an unfolding silent coup by the regime Americans repudiated in 2016 — to use security leaks and the lethal weapon of a special counsel to overturn the election results — is that not a story worth covering as much as what Trump said to Pena Nieto?

Do the people not have a right know who are the snakes collaborating with the Never-Trump press to bring down their head of state? Is not discovering the identities of deep-state felons a story that investigative reporters should be all over?

If Greg Miller is obligated to protect his source, fine. But why are other journalists not exposing his identity?

The answer suggests itself. This is a collaborative enterprise, where everyone protects everyone else’s sources, because all have the same goal: the dumping of Trump. If that requires collusion with criminals, so be it.

The Justice Department is now running down the leaks, and the ACLU’s Ben Wizner is apoplectic: “Every American should be concerned about the Trump administration’s threat to step up its efforts against whistleblowers and journalists. A crackdown on leaks is a crackdown on the free press and on democracy.”

That’s one way to put it. Another is that some of these “whistleblowers” are political criminals who reject the verdict of the American electorate in 2016 and are out to overturn it. And the aforementioned “journalists” are their enablers and collaborators.

And if, as Wizner’s asserts, protecting secrets is tantamount to a “crackdown on the free press and democracy,” no wonder the free press and democracy are falling into disrepute all over the world.

By colluding, the mainstream media, deep state, and the special prosecutor’s button men, with a license to roam, may bring down yet another president. So doing, they will validate John Adams’s insight:

“Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

A large part of me believes that a coin was flipped and Trump won the toss. Clinton or Trump, this “election” was about creating turmoil. Obama laid the groundwork with tension between races.

Clinton or Trump, really? This was like some sick joke.
Clinton would have been a new repressive federal government causing the deplorable’s to rise up.
With Trump we have a man that is deplored by media, both political parties and snowflakes all calling for impeachment.

Seems like a win-win for those behind the curtain.

This election just expressed the irreparable and irreconcilable division of our nation that finalized under Obama.

After the “coup” there will be only one box left.

I suspect it will end up in use, but to what extent I do not know.

Expect major changes in what remains of our freedom after that.

Coin toss my ass. Trump moved the people. I went to two rallies both massive, people came from far & wide. Trump has millions of die hard supporters. Trump set stadium attendance records from coast to coast. Trump won the election the old fashioned way. People voted for him

“And…. there… will… be… growth… in the SPRING! YES! There will be growth in the Spring.”

Classic movie. A long-time favorite.

On another note: Pat writes:

BAM! There it is. This was posted on Drudge today and there is no way the Deep State likes this Pat on their backs. Thanks Pat

The question of the title begs the question, what happens after the coup? Although the question is asked, the possible scenarios are limited. My first question is, with all this criminality being committed, is all this effort to impeach Trump going to end with Vice President Pence becoming the next President? Will this accomplish the lefts goals? I’m thinking no, so there must be further treasons in store to finally get to the end game of their progressive plans.
Next question, will the American people fight or withdraw? Although in a previous article I thought fight, after considering more I’m thinking if the economy is able to be held together for a little longer through manipulations, maybe Americans will just withdraw from any protest; the only way violent protests will be initiated is if as a people, we feel we having nothing to lose. For example, if a progressive is placed as the President today, will Americans risk their current comfortable lifestyle to resist? I’m thinking not. I think this is why doomsday scenarios are so popular, when all I have is threatened, then hell yes I’m gonna fight back. But if TPTB recognize this, it will be in their best interest to maintain the current status quo to bring about their progressive dream. The doomsday scenario will commence once they have secured the government and confiscated all the weapons that could have been used against them.

It’s not about accomplishing the Left’s goals. It’s about the Uniparty, the Deep State and its controlled media working together to prohibit an outsider from stymieing their combined goals of open borders, globalism and world government. Pence would serve their interests just fine – as would 98% of politicians from either party.

If Middle America sees that its vote doesn’t count, it should demand its sons never join the military. The elites don’t want a draft because their own sons and daughters would have to “liberate” Syria. The main response to the coup against the duly-elected Trump should be to deny the Deep State the fodder for its war machine.

Thanks for your reply, I’m not sure about Pence, but if he just watched Trump get trounced, he will probably roll over like a puppy, or suffer a similar fate. Draft? Do you think the elite will not find a loop hole, as they did during the Vietnam Nam draft? Take care!

Trump should consider giving D.C. elite a taste of their own medicine. There will be another egregious killing in a tony D.C. neighorhood.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3119262/Bloody-baseball-bat-discovered-D-C-mansion-murder-scene-alongside-slain-millionaire-couple.html

Use that as way to bring ghetto style law enforcement to Georgetown and the Northwest sections of D.C. Trump has any number of Federal police agencies at his disposal. Mr. and Mrs. retired Senior Executive Service out for a walk in Rock Creek Park? Have the Park Police put them in hand cuffs while they are ‘detained’ and checked for warrants. Have US marshals empty out that Mercedes on Foxhall Rd and throw its occupants over the hood of the car as they are searched. Going to a dinner party in Georgetown, put a carload of D.C. elites face down on the pavement at gunpoint because their BMW matches the description of a stolen car then confiscate their cash and jewelry.

It’d be good for the elites to check their ‘white privilege’ and see what its like to be an ‘average American’.

Read the comments on Glenn Greenwald’s latest column on the dangers of letting the Deep State succeed in their coup

What’s Worse: Trump’s Campaign Agenda or Empowering Generals and CIA Operatives to Subvert It?

A lot of people would be fine with ending democracy if that’s what it takes to get rid of the evil president who once called a guy a Mexican.

I’m encouraging Trump to declare Marshal Law. Fire Mueller & let the military root out the anti American forces at play. An attack on a duly elected President is an act of war & President Trump needs to get on a war footing.

You assume the military is not “anti-American”. I see no evidence of that. As Glenn Greenwald wrote:

“It’s particularly ironic that many of the same people who have spent the year ridiculing the notion that the U.S. has any kind of Deep State are now trumpeting the need for the U.S. military to save the Republic from the elected government, given that this, roughly speaking, is the defining attribute of all Deep States, at least as they depict themselves.” and

“The military triumvirate of Kelly, Mattis, and McMaster has been cast as the noble defender of American democracy, pitted against those who were actually elected to lead the government.”

First – it’s martial law. Pet peeve.

Obama spend 8 years replacing as many of the actual American officers with communists. Trump would need to remove these people, first.

The command structure is completely infiltrated by subversive traitors. The enlisted masses are increasingly non-White. They are mostly completely incompetent, but will have access to the nicest toys on kick-off.

They can’t protect their domestic supply chains or their dependents.

One question is just how will the Russians and Chinese respond to an American civil war?

The smartest thing for Trump to do may be entangling the military in a significant conflict(s) overseas, to get the worst of the military problems out of the country, preoccupied elsewhere, first. Maybe he is doing that, I’m not sure.

If Trump is removed from office, the civil cold war will immediately go hot.

Those elected are bought off representing corporations. Look at McCain & Lindsey Graham they vote like Democrats. Graham told his constituents he didn’t give a shit, vote him out of office If they didn’t like his positions.
Trump is representing the voters, he’s actually attempting to fulfill his campaign promises.

The “Deep State” = The beast of the Earth (Rev. 11-18) Oh, he speaks as a dragon!

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Horny lambs who speak like dragons. Dragons speak? Horny dragon lambs calling down fire from heaven, giving life to dead bodies and acting without regard to science, physics, or any other laws of the universe (via miracles). And killing lotsa people.

Why? Cuz the little lamby dragon wants people to worship the other beast fellow. Worship me or I kill you. Ballsy little fucker, ain’t he?

But, people believe this stuff, even though it’s more befitting of a DC Comic book series.

Anyway — this is true, I swear on my son’s lives!! My first, middle, and last names each contain EIGHT letters! 888. 8 is two more than 6. I, therefore, am TWICE as powerful as this fucken lamby dragon fellow. Worship me, or I fuck you up!

The 2000 year old Revelation prophecy of the Mark of the Beast to buy and sell is real. In 1992, St Paisios said (my summary) Turkey will extend it’s border and take some offshore Greek islands; and attack the Kurds in Syria which will cause Russia to defend both. Turks will move to control the Dardanelle and Russia will destroy Turkey in a war. Greece regains West Turkey and the Kurds take East Turkey. The US and NATO send a fleet to the Aegean and demand the Russians withdraw but Russia totally destroys it. Now read the Googled Reuters story 7Aug2017: “After military shake-up, Erdogan says Turkey to tackle…” Turks and ZOGs are going to be sorry don’t read and believe Christian Prophecy.

Just another example of how an empire collapses under it’s own weight. What Trump has done is to remove all doubt that Democrats and Republicans are the same. It’s the poeple who are out of touch with those in power. Cause that’s who gonna win.

I hope everyone here realizes we’re closer to nuclear war than ever before in history. That should be the #1 story on every news outlet, but sorry to say it’s not. Pieces are being locked in place that are very hard to reverse (aka: recent sanctions).
As long as the Russians and Chinese think it’s possible the U.S. could initiate 1st strike against them, we’re at a heightened risk of an accidental launch on bogus info. All it takes is one mistake and the whole enchilada is served.
