Kimmel didn’t get where he is by his talent. His comedic talent anyway.

I hate to say, it but I really don’t know who Jimmy Kimmel is or why he is so influential.

Maybe I’m just not in the mainstream anymore.

I think Kimmel’s actually the funniest of the late-nighters. I know that’s not saying much, but he’s pretty funny with his sidekick Guillermo. At least he’s better than that fat unfunny Brit on CBS – Corden. That dude is lame. Colbert sucks. Seth Meyers is a bore. Jimmy Fallon is a kiss-ass. I don’t have cable, so anyone else is unknown to me. Kimmel should stay out of politics, of course.

Like others have pointed out, he is the latest edition of the “John Stewart’s”. Comedians who decided to transition to doing “real” news but still maintain enough of their clown persona that they can bow out when the going gets tough. “I was just kidding” or “Don’t be so sensitive” or “I’m just a comedian.”

What a crock.
