If it’s so natural, why would it be slammed?

While the picture of Bruce Jenner as an Olympian is quite clear for the men’s room, the other seems to imply that anyone, regardless of what they ACTUALLY ARE, can use the lady’s room. I certainly appreciate the humor, the mocking (hopefully that was the intention), and the sarcasm, I think it sends a message more along the lines of Target’s open door policy allowing anyone to use the lady’s room based on their “feelings” on a given day.

But of course, anything that pisses off the liberal snowflake crowd is to be applauded.

Who goes in which doors? All I see are a men’s room and a psychologically-damaged men’s room.

For the few ladies here, I have a question-
Does it strike you as offensive that now men are even appropriating what it is to be a woman? I mean, we can take away just about everything from you, rape you, ruin your reputation, and generally be utter shitballs, but until recently, we couldn’t take your sex from you. Now, we can dress up, call ourselves you, and claim special benefits and protections from the government. With yesterday’s news we’ll soon be able to carry babies (saw it on drudge) and give some sick twisted simulation of birth,so now we’re you. What have you got left that makes you you that we can’t just take away?

Now, me, I’m offended at the other side. When I saw Chasitity (HA!) Bono play dress-up and transform herself into every woman’s dream- a fat, middleaged sloppy “man” and the media ate it up and called her a man, I was pissed. I was pissed because I did all that living to get to the same time in my life. I earned that fat. I grew that sloppy look through hours and hours of videogames and busy commuting to work and back and family life. And Chastity didn’t do shit. She stole the trappings of my sex and I’m expected to honor it, but I can’t because she isn’t and (important to me) she didn’t put in the hours. She skipped to the front of the line, ignoring all those shitty little experiences you have growing up and maturing. She never had a first embarassing woody in class. How about the first time you realize you have BO now and you need to get deoderant, because you’re funky? I assume she never got shot down asking a girl for a date at school. I’m pretty sure she didn’t have a nocturnal emissions to deal with. Or any of the awful shit that comes with growing up and actually being a guy. So that’s what bugs me about it.

If I were a woman, I imagine I would feel the same way. How can some dude put on a dress and pretend he understands me and my problems and what it’s like to be me? Even if he spends all day doing it, it doesn’t change anything. Worse, now we’re supposed to let trannies compete as the sex they claim to be, meaning women can’t compete in their own sports. For example, guys will have the NBA and they’ll also own the WNBA. It’s even worse when you look at Rachel Dolezal and her Race-Transplant. If I were black, I would be going crazy over that shit, too.

Well, Gilbert, in keeping with R.Gore’s post about Dems and a small tent, there *does* happen to be a branch of committed feminists who are pissed off about having to share their safe spaces with MtF transsexuals. For your edification, they are called TERFs (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists).

This is an issue roiling the environmental-activist community (Earth First!, Deep Green Resistance) as their main issues and work focus have gotten de-railed by this gender brou-ha-ha.

Lierre Keith (DGR):
“Well, I’ve personally been fighting about this since 1982. I think ‘transphobic’ is a ridiculous word. I have no strange fear of people who claim to be ‘trans.’ I deeply disagree with them, as do most radical feminists.

“Try this on. I am a rich person stuck in a poor person’s body. I’ve always enjoyed champagne rather than beer, and always knew I belonged in first class not economy, and it just feels right when people wait on me. My insurance company should give me a million dollars to cure my Economic Dysphoria.

“Or how about this. I am really Native American. How do I know? I’ve always felt a special connection to animals, and started building tee pees in the backyard as soon as I was old enough. I insisted on wearing moccasins to school even though the other kids made fun of me and my parents punished me for it. I read everything I could on native people, started going to pow wows and sweat lodges as soon as I was old enough, and I knew that was the real me. And if you bio-Indians don’t accept us trans-Indians, then you are just as genocidal and oppressive as the Europeans. Gender is no different. It is a class condition created by a brutal arrangement of power. I can’t fathom how mutilating people’s bodies to fit an oppressive power arrangement is frankly anything but a human rights violation. And men insisting that they are women is insulting and absurd.

“[The Trans Community is] in fact deeply misogynist and reactionary when it comes to any understanding of male power. Indeed, they often claim it ‘oppresses’ them to even use the words ‘men’ and ‘women.’ Meanwhile, men are raping and brutalizing women on a mass scale. I hate to say this, but it’s porn culture that really created the whole concept of trans. I watched it happen.”
http://earthfirstjournal.org/newswire/2014/02/23/a-toxic-culture-of-violence-and-shame-how-dgrs-denial-of-transphobia-exposes-worse-tendencies/

The article is heavy going, but shows the accusations and counter-accusations and the convoluted ideological minefields in which these people set traps for themselves.

A commenter brought out the minority-within-a-minority grievance of the intolerance of trans-people towards “detransitioned” trans (in this case a woman who “became” a male and then decided to go back to being female.. she supports the TERFers).

Kudu’s to the restaurant and it’s management. It should start a trend. How about Bathhouse Barry on the Ladies and Moochele on the Gents? Then again, I might hold my water and stop a the next restroom.
