QUOTE OF THE DAY

“People of privilege will always risk their complete destruction rather than surrender any material part of their advantage. Intellectual myopia, often called stupidity, is no doubt a reason. But the privileged also feel that their privileges, however egregious they may seem to others, are a solemn, basic, God-given right.”

Met the man back in the early 80’s. He was a formidable intellect and if you review his contentions in Wikipedia you will see that he actually had a really good handle on what was going to happen.

Must be true that for the media also, as arbiters of the truth.

The Washington Post covered Strzok, the Trump hating FBI agent who had the extra marital affair with Lisa Page, the FBI lawyer as a “romance,” with only one benign reference of their contempt for Trump, ignoring the dozens of other anti Trump texts. Apparently, as reported by the Post, they were using their words as some sort of a cover for their affair and their hostile views towards Trump in no way influenced their investigation into Hillary and Trump.
Just an observation of how important the real news we get at TBP to see through the crap the media puts forth. Thanks again for all your efforts in keeping the site running and it’s readers informed.

Doesn’t matter what the privilege is. Food stamps. Social security. etc. All becomes a normalized right, deserved & earned, in short order.
