Here’s today’s Clover – yesterday’s, actually!
I was driving down the mountain – as we say up in The Woods – when I rolled up behind this Clover, who was “driving” (if you can call it that) 10-15 MPH below the speed limit, swinging wide right and left – like the Clover in the Solara I recorded the other day. Once down the mountain, the Clover picked-up speed to 10 over the limit. And then tailgated the first car it rolled up behind.

All the city drivers seem to be unable to drive unless tailgating. 80+ fucking mph nose to tail. The chicken fuckers slow once they leave city limits. They know their zebra stripes won’t help them once the herd thins. Tommy whines about old people, he should be whining about the city fucks that can’t drive unless they can see themselves in my chrome bumper. Even grumpy fucking Dutch will agree with me. I think I flashed him the bird back in ’04. He returned the salute and grinned.
No one can drive anymore. The speed limit or less, no skill, no cruise control, cant drive through curves, slow up the hills, not enough power to leave the light, cant pass tailgaitin idiots are enuf to give me an aneurism.
Most people have trouble driving safely on mountain roads unless they live there or drive them often and are used to them.
Mountain roads can be scary to flatlanders, and the number of little crosses and skid marks leaving a trail where someone went off of them indicate that they shouldn’t be treated like city roads in the flatlands.
