McCain was a very sick man, in more ways than one. His actions were unspeakable. A hero? Yes, he served, and stated he was mistreated as a POW, as thousands of better men have been. Unlike them, he used his military service to promote himself, to say nothing of using his high level Navy connections. He dumped his first wife after a disfiguring accident and after she had stood by him in prison. He encored by marrying a mobster’s daughter and thus became a wealthy man. he was key figure in the savings and loan disaster, an unabashed Israeli agent and a vicious warmonger. His actions against Trump were entirely in line with his character. He will not be missed.
