Well, they charged Nixon with high crimes and misdemeanors. The investigation into Trump for treason; serving the interests of Russia, means they have no basis for the charge of bribery or high crimes. They are grasping at straws. That doesn’t mean Trump is squeaky clean, only that he doesn’t qualify for impeachment yet since they have no unimpeachable evidence of malfeasance.
