Nation’s Gen Xers Announce Plan To Just Sit Back And Enjoy Watching Boomers, Millennials Tear Each Other To Shreds

Via The Babylon Bee

U.S.—The nation’s population of Gen Xers announced Thursday it would be continuing their policy of just sitting back and enjoying watching boomers and millennials blame each other for everything.

“We’re just gonna slowly back away and stay out of the crossfire,” said Mike Ganders, 49. “The boomers are blaming the millennials for everything, the millennials pin all their problems on the boomers—and frankly, I’m OK with this arrangement.”

Boomers often accuse millennials of ruining the nation by being lazy, not buying houses, and eating avocado toast. Millennials, in turn, point out that boomers put the nation on a trajectory of growing debt and borrowing from future generations to fund their own lifestyles and also still haven’t figured out how to use Facebook.

In the meantime, savvy members of Generation X suddenly realized that they were completely off the hook for their own faults, and so decided to simply watch from a safe distance as the generations that bookend them blast each other constantly.

“We kinda have it made,” Ganders added. “We get all the benefits of the boomers’ unsustainable social programs and get to be a little bit lazy like the millennials, and yet they skip right over us and blame the other guy.”

Gen Xers did state they have one regret they will take full responsibility for: allowing grunge music to spread unimpeded.

Donkey…I’m having a flashback after reading the tounge in cheek thread and your post using: ‘TUNE OUT’….no it’s not PTSD (hold on a second I think I hear the re-supply chopper coming in…never mind…false alarm). Anyway, Tune Out ‘triggered me” (yea old guys can be triggered too…that was Roy Rogers horse’s name…TRIGGERED)…anyway it kinda reminded me of a famous Professor’s advice that led to the path to Woodstock too many asshole Boomers took. (I have always contended many of my generation were Dr. Spock – Professor Leary – Peter Pan misdirected useful idiots and Woodstock would have been a good spot for one of those smaller nukes .22 doesn’t believe in).

The Professor (another CIA plant I suspect – there is evidence) is immortalized with this Deep State wisdom: “Turn on, tune in, drop out” a counterculture-era phrase popularized by Timothy Leary in 1966 – 1967. (He was big in the mid-60’s too many mis-spent their mis-spent Boomer yout listening to the tenured jelly head).

Leary spoke at the Human Be-In, a gathering of 30,000 hippies in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and phrased the famous words, “TURN ON, TUNE IN, DROP OUT”. It was also the title of his spoken word album recorded in 1966. (I was 16 and laughed out loud when I saw him and his followers on the tube and in my neighborhood).

Ahhh…the HUMAN BE-IN. I wonder how many of the aging survivors of this suspicious (oops I mean auspicious) gathering have a clue how they were nothing but Dr. Scholl inserts in the boots for the LONG MARCH by enemy of their and our souls.

How many Boomers who went all in and still live…realize their souls became nothing but used Dr. Scholl soles for all that is evil and has spawned what is coming?

I’m no big fan of Millennials…or Boomers. Maybe the Gen Xers should actually listen to the Christian Stinger Bee?

I only know who the boomers are (1946-1964) because my whole life they wanted to lump me in with those filthy people who went to Woodstock – even though I was only seven at the time. The rest of ’em – Millenials, Gen X’s, Gen Y’s, Gen Z’s … I don’t even know which is which. Nor do I care. Not sure which will happen sooner: me figuring out these generations or me opening a Facebook account.

Me too. I hated the elders of my boom boom generation. I was being punished for behavior, while my older sister was doing worse. In reality boomers should be divided. Then again my group bought into the Reagan bull feces (did government get off my back, or just get bigger Ronnie?), and the Rapture drivel (MIGA). Can I pretend myself onto being a zoomer?

PS. Can’t wait for the census next year. It’s gonna be so much fun with all that new founded social identification empowerment.

Gen-X is screwed by both…. savings crushed by repeated market bubbles and equity losses on their homes. Caring for aging boomer parents with outrageous healthcare costs and retirement home costs….millennial kids with useless degrees that cost thousands and living in the X’er parent’s homes until their 30’s…..

Gen x’ers should not only sit back and watch the boomers and millenials blame each other–they should be flipping each group off with a middle finger for each………..

For the most part I try and play peace maker and act as a bridge for the Baby boomers and Millenials I know. I try and help them relate and understand their respective generational differences and overall human similarities.

We boomers never sat around blaming our elders while paying double digit interest rates on our homes and getting payed less and less wages, we blamed the right assholes, Da Banksters and Da Elites. This is just another divide and conquer tactic so the younger generation Merikans don’t also blame them and point the finger in the right direction.

FYI- I am a dindu, I dindu nuffin’…..so blow me. Not my fault, not my monkey and NOT my circus.

My Boomer relatives all brag and talk about blowing shit loads of money every time we gather for the holidays. I never see any Millennial relatives. They don’t like holiday gatherings for some reason, and the Boomers bitch about how Millennials can’t manage money much less make any. I’m a X’er and I think they’re all about ate up with it. I just sit back in a corner and can never get the hell back to the house soon enough.

I was saying this very same thing unironically the other day…. we X-ers aren’t excited about volunteering for much of anything… and you’re welcome for the grunge.

The silents fought the wars their elders designed.
They were good at bridge and dinner parties and having babies.
They drank too much and created narcissist kiddos because they could.
They voted themselves golden pensions and retirements.

Boomers think of themselves. The beaver cleavers became a huge student force and over educated themselves. They made families and enjoyed life and cars.
The boomers created jobs for themselves. Even though they too were drafted for foreign wars by their elders, the returning vets worked hard. They enjoyed easy life much leisure and sports. They spawned too many entertainers (those who could make a fine living begging for other peoples money). They too voted themselves obscene pensions and perks because they could.. They paid low taxes as to not be bothered with their aging parents (Medicaid/Medicare)and since college was optional, tuition was affordable with a part time job so low student debt. They smoked too much pot.

The Xers with fewer siblings followed the path of boomers. Since boomers wanted two slices of pie (double income families made wages go down) they had more luxury. Latchkey Xer kids had more difficulty in job market as govt. jobs froze (we already made it to the moon)and boomers held their jobs tight. College began its high tuitions, student debt was the advice given to Xers for a proven path. High tax revenues paid for silent seniors and the new crop of immigrants. They earned the participation trophies and were cast in boy bands (allowing the boomers to grab that entertainment money again). They used drugs too.

The Y’s or millennial have it easy as video games replaced backyard pick up games. They uptalk sounding unconfident and wimpy. They are not lazy, just allowed things to be given to them. They are in debt to university/trade school masters. They delay adulthood.

The Z’s will see the most lifestyle change when boomers deplete their cache of cash. The pensions, “socsecurity” will be completely restructured (12 years @AOC Green Deal threat). Still will workers be more taxed, but it will more reflect the true ponzi scene. This people will not work real hard. Ambitions crushed.

Then we will see who will remains, if socialism will answer their cries, and if there is a God.

Along those lines, honestly, I think of all generations in recent history, none has lost more members to drugs and suicide than X’ers. We can make light because we are X’ers, but, I think, you are correct. We have lost more to war than the boomers, and no one can dispute that fact. In overall digits, the numbers may be arguable but as far as I-survived-an-IED-with-no-legs-or-arms, FUCK the boomers and the millenials and everybody else. We do more drugs than all you motherfuck*rs because we were born to and raised b y scavengers, by the slaves to the GD banksters, and they have fuck*n’ consumed everybody after, PERIOD. I don’t give a shi* if they eat themselves stupid and drink themselves into dementia, in my opinion, boomers, as a generations (not individuals, per se) are worthless fuck*ng halfwits. Every time I hear one lament the passing of the “free love” era, I load my shotgun with rock-salt, because you USELESS MOTHERFUCK*RS NEVER LOVED ANYTHING BUT YOUR GODDA*N SELVES , getting high, getting off, and getting one over on your own children, so FU*K YOUR LOVE. And FUCK you. *. You had the chance to change the world for the better and you fucked it up, sold everyone else out and fattened your wallets, and, ever since, we are ALL slaves.

Good fucking riddance.

Oh, Jeez. Sorry, I think I fell asleep or into a trance or had a flashback or something, man, wow.
