Everything and I mean everything is better with bacon…..

I stopped eating the unclean animal a long time ago. Processing pig to bacon is just to hide the taste. There are alternatives to get the smoked taste, even without smoking, try black Kardamom. The amount of suffering needed to produce pork is on top of the list.

Humanely raised animals are Gods gift to man.
Working on the first part of that sentence is a noble effort.
Dismissing meat as food altogether is reckless.

Horst, you should come visit our pigs. They live a better life than most people. Regular food- good food too, not factory feeds, living in multi-generational swine herds, plenty of open spaces to explore and root in and then BOOM! one single instant of flashing light and the same endless eternity all of us move on to except we get to enjoy their flesh as a payback for all of our efforts.

About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him, “Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.”

“Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”

The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”

Horst, you remind me of the one guy on shore leave who would get a room at the Y while all the other guys would enjoy the company of a lady.

I’m not vegan. When it comes to bacon, did you guys know who “invented” the “American Breakfast” ? The same guy who brought to us the feminist accomplishment of smoking woman. Edward B. . If you guys want to be eat unclean, just eat it!

I can’t find it …. but, I always liked that image where Ann “Crazy Eyes” Barnhardt used bacon as a bookmark when reading the Koran.

Dateline 2050:

Ape activists demand reparations for ancestors held in cages, destroy Michael Jackson statues. America must pay for the suffering of our ancestors, they demanded. No mention was made about the 2019 experiment that created the now intelligent race of apes. Ape President B.J. Bear tweeted support for the activists. Counter-protesters held signs saying – It’s OK to be human.

We quit eating pork a couple years ago, after hearing a dietary chemist/nutrition guru I know declared it is “wildly carcinogenic”. Actually got a “wellness” lift out of it. In a month we were feeling less sluggish and had more energy. We were eating pork maybe once or twice a week prior to stopping if that. Almost as much a benefit of quit eating pork as quitting the diet sodas. And yet and yes, bacon is a little hard to quit. It is almost an addiction.

Your guru says it’s “wildly carcinogenic” ……. other guru’s say it’s great in moderate amounts.

Who should one believe? You felt less sluggish and had more energy when you stopped eating pork, sooooo, believe your body. I’m happy for you.

But, if SSS were here he would ream you a new asshole. lol Man, that guy just loved his bacon. He doesn’t post here anymore and I suspect it’s because he died of clogged arteries.

Hey, check this out.

A typical 3.5-ounce (100-gram) portion of cooked bacon contains (8):

37 grams of high-quality animal protein
Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12
89% of the RDA for selenium
53% of the RDA for phosphorus
Decent amounts of the minerals iron, magnesium, zinc and potassium

Goddammit, that’s a Health Super-Food!!

Where is the bacon sourced? Is it preserved by gallons of nitrates? Were they humanely raised? Go ahead, get off pork and feel good about yourself. Clean, sustainably raised port is healthy. Go ahead and virtue signal. More for me!! Look at history, this country’s founding was raised with pigs, and the settlers may not have made it without our bacon laden friends. But hey, outlaw pigs, and I will revel in seeing the cities fucking starve.

It’s a wonder food and byproduct of making human replacement heart-valves, footballs, suede and jello.

Can’t make a bacon cheeseburger without it. Sprinkle some bit on a salad. Spaghetti alla carbonara anyone? What about “angels on horseback”? Who doesn’t like a barbequed brat? Don’t forget about breakfast and the traditional combination of bacon and eggs.

And how in the fuck can one prepare a proper BLT without it?? Ya can’t!

Plus, as a bonus, it behaves like Kryptonite for members of certain ethnic and religious persuasions.

If that is not enough taste, culinary versatility, and other great uses for the stuff , then I don’t know what’s going to get your support.
