The 8th Largest Snow Storm to Hit North America

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Seven counties in New York State have been buried in snow as their regions are declared snow emergencies. Albany even had to tow some 240 cars since declaring the emergency. This has been the biggest snow storm on record this early in the season, and it turned out to be the eight largest snow storm on record. St. Paul voted to increase snow emergency towing fees to $300. Meanwhile, in Duluth, they have voted to revamp broken snow emergency system designating specific roads to be used in a snow emergency.

Unfortunately, each year is progressively getting colder. The next solar cycle begins in 2020 and it should be the weakest in hundreds of years. This can get colder going into 2024.

It has been unseasonably cold in Florida, Abu Dhabi, and even in Thailand.

“Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?” (Job 38:22,23) This is a prophetic promise from God the Father that huge snow and hail is coming at the time of the end. Sin has consequences, and what’s coming when it arrives, will make the blizzard of 49 look like something for sale at Dairy Queen.

Ice age and global boiler. I kinda bet that the 20 something trillion in debt might be our downfall before the weather destroys the world.

I was at the beach today and I saw the water rise 3 feet in 4 hours. Scary stuff that global warming!!!
Oh, that was just a high tide??….never mind.
How are they going to spin the massive number of record cold temps that are going to be set this year? That will be interesting.

They’ll say it’s hotter that it’s ever been on the other side of the planet somewhere where they didn’t even have thermometers 100 years ago. Like Borneo. Or some place filled with nothing but savages like Australia.

Wow, a snowstorm in winter! Who would imagine?

Is this the same guy who said harvests were so bad this year we were going to starve as well? My farmer friends have told me the local graineries aren’t buying any more corn because they have no storage space left.

Been a typical winter here in Minneapolis so far. First snow came a few days early (late November). The city only has a $1.6 billion budget, so they’ve started to skimp by leaving the last 6-8” of snow on the residential streets to form an icy, suspension-taxing bumpy mess. Their plowing strategy seems to be to wait for it to melt in March. The city lakes are about half frozen, which is about on-track, although I did see one brave (crazy) bastard skating across (small) Cedar Lake yesterday.

The young and impressionable think boomers dismiss climate change because we’ll be dead. No, it’s because we can remember 50 years ago – when the weather was the exact fucking same. Also we’ve seen more bullshitters so we know when we’re being bullshat.

In our day they taught kids about the moron King Canute who tried to order the tide not to come in. I also remember 78 or 79 when here it froze in September and didn’t get above freezing until early April. We had seven feet of snow which just piled up everywhere since it never melted and we had weeks on end of 20-30 below every night. The city pushed plowed snow into the river since there was no place left to stack it.
