Happened to glance at a Yahoo “stars we lost in 2019” compilation. First off, obviously the word “star” has seriously variable meanings. Second, in addition to all of the great real stars that died last year of old age, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, cancer, and the usual suspects, I was shocked to see how many under 40s were dead of SUICIDE. And these were people who, based on their “star” status, likely had reasonable financial means and options in life. I guess cell phones and tens of thousands of followers just can’t make someone happy. Who would have thought? 🙂
